摘要: The invention refers to an injection device comprising a housing (10; 340; 410), a dose setting member (60, 80; 350; 420, 440) being operable in a first direction to set a desired dose to be dispensed, and a piston rod (30; 530) being adapted to cooperate with a piston so as to cause a set dose to be injected from a cartridge (170). Further, a first part (123; 300; 480) and a second part (114; 310; 490) of the injection device are provided, which are adapted to perform a relative rotational movement with respect to each other during dispensing of a dose, and which are adapted to provide a non-visual feedback signal to a user only at the end of dispensing of a set dose. The dose setting member (60, 80; 350; 420, 440) is further operable in a second direction which is opposite to the first direction to cancel a set dose. A third part (100; 212; 320; 460) is movable between a dose setting or cancelling position and a dose dispensing position relative to the first part (123; 300; 480) and/or the second part (114; 310; 490), which third part (100; 212;320; 460) contacts the first part (123; 300; 480) and/or the second part (114; 310; 490) in its dose setting or cancelling position or in its dose dispensing position.

摘要: A syringe fill system is described, which is useful for filling syringes for dental anesthetic applications. The system incorporates capability for “push-pull”, “pull-push”, “push-push”, and “pull-pull” modes of operation, for loading syringes with compositions comprising multiple fluid components. A syringe fillable by such syringe fill systems is described, providing haptic and audible feedback to a user, to aid in administering precise amounts of therapeutic compositions. Also disclosed are cassette assemblies for use in such syringe fill systems. Such cassette assemblies may be formed of plastic and elastomeric materials of construction, as disposable or single-use components of the syringe fill system.

摘要: The present invention relates to a drive mechanism of a drug delivery device for dispensing of a dose of a medicament, comprising: a housing of substantially cylindrical geometry having a long axis extending in an axial direction, an at least axially displaceable piston rod adapted to become operably engaged with a piston of a cartridge containing the medicament for displacing the piston in a distal direction, at least one actuation means radially displaceable with respect to the housing by an externally applied depressing force for transferring a respective driving force to the piston rod, and a coupling means operably engaged with the actuation means and with the piston rod adapted to transfer the radially inwardly directed displacement of the at least one actuation means into a distally directed axial displacement of the piston rod.

摘要: A surgical device comprises a housing, a plurality of media reservoirs, an end effector, and a pumping device. Each media reservoir is configured to receive at least one component of a tissue repair composition. The end effector is configured for insertion into a lumen to deliver a tissue repair composition into that lumen. The end effector has at least one fluid conduit and at least one orifice in communication with the fluid conduit. The pumping device is operable to urge a tissue repair composition comprising at least a portion of the contents of the plurality of media reservoirs through the fluid conduit of the end effector such that the tissue repair composition is expelled from the at least one orifice. The media reservoirs may contain medical fluid components such as viable cells and scaffold material to repair a fistula or address some other condition in a patient.
