摘要: Methods, systems, and storage media for generating and displaying animations of simulated biomechanical motions are disclosed. In embodiments, a computer device may obtain sensor data of a sensor affixed to a user's body or equipment used by the user, and may use inverse kinematics to determine desired positions and orientations of an avatar based on the sensor data. In embodiments, the computer device may adjust or alter the avatar based on the inverse kinematics, and generate an animation for display based on the adjusted avatar. Other embodiments may be disclosed and/or claimed.

摘要: A connecting system for connecting a tensioning member to a free-space shaft may comprise an inner element having an element spherical outer surface truncated at opposite truncated ends and may include an element bore extending through the inner element and coaxial with the element spherical outer surface. The element bore may have a bore axis and a bore cross section sized and configured complementary to a shaft cross section of the free-space shaft. A retaining collar may include a collar spherical inner surface complementary to and configured to receive the element spherical outer surface, and may have opposing collar ends. The collar spherical inner surface may define a collar axis. The retaining collar may allow universal motion of the bore axis relative to the collar axis. The retaining collar may include an arching portion for connecting the tensioning member to the shaft.

The sensor system includes a plurality of sensors that are configured for detecting forces exerted by a user's foot on the sensor. The sensor system also includes a port that is configured to receive a module to place the module in communication with the sensors. The port includes a housing with a chamber configured to receive the module and an interface engaged with the housing and having at least one electrical contact exposed to the chamber. Additional retaining structure and interface structure may be included.

摘要: An archery practice field tip and related method of use is provided, where the field tip has a first shape that is structurally different from a second shape of an actual hunting broadhead, but where the tip mimics the aerodynamics and flight characteristics of the hunting broadhead. The practice tip can be void of sharpened cutting edges, and can include a head on drag promoting element and/or a crosswind drag promoting element, either of which can be scoops, flanges, fins, holes and the like. The tip can have a head on aerodynamic drag that is within 40%, within 25%, within 10% and/or within 5% of the first head on aerodynamic drag of the hunting broadhead. The practice tip can have a crosswind aerodynamic drag that is within 40%, within 25%, within 10% and/or within 5% of the crosswind aerodynamic drag of the hunting broadhead.

摘要: An athletic training system includes one or more panels that present a rigid front surface covered by a translucent material behind which is an illumination or light source and a pressure sensor that can detect and measure the pressure caused by impact of a ball (i.e. a soccer ball). A control device communicates with and controls the panels according to a selected exercise regimen that is designed to develop particular skills for an athletic or sporting endeavor by commanding the panel or panels to illuminate (i.e. turn on its light source). While illuminated, the panel actively monitors its pressure sensor for an indication of an impact, and upon detecting an impact, reports the detection of the impact to the control device, and turns off its illumination. The process of turning panels on and off and detecting impact can be used to construct various regimens for training and developing skills.

摘要: A system may comprise one or more monitoring devices that may communicate with a mobile device or a wearable device worn by a user of a sporting apparatus. The system may enable motion data specific to motion of the sporting apparatus to be conveniently captured and transmitted, and displayed on the wearable device. The system may include functionality to permit disablement of the motion detecting, transmission, and/or displaying functions at times when such functions are not permitted to be used, and to record the date, time, and location when such functions have been disabled to permit verification thereof by a governing body or sporting organization. The system may further include a learning module enabling monitored motion of the object to be correlated to monitored motion of the user such that predictive motion of the sporting object based only on monitored motion of the user may be obtained and displayed.
