Abstract: A traveling toy wheel whose simple configuration allows multiple devices to be enjoyed and can further change fine offsets is provided. The traveling toy wheel includes a first rim member to which a tire is mounted and a second rim member which includes a fitting portion into which a wheel hub of a traveling toy is fitted. Fitting holes as fixing portions are provided in one of the first rim member or the second rim member and elastic convex pieces as fixed portions are provided in the other of the first and second rim members. When the elastic convex pieces are fitted in the fitting holes, the first rim member and the second rim member are jointed relatively unmovably. A plurality of fitting holes are arranged at different positions, so that it is possible to easily adjust an offset of the wheel.

Abstract: A central tire inflation system for maintaining tire inflation on a vehicle is provided. The central tire inflation system includes a rotary union assembly having a housing that is coupled to and rotates with the hubcap. The housing is rotationally coupled to a stationary shaft. A flexible torque transfer shaft is connected to the stationary shaft on one end and to an axle plug on the other end. The axle plug has a hub forming, a bore where the hub is movable on a web of material. The flexible torque transfer shaft and hub have cooperative non-circular shapes to resist rotation. An air vent is provided in the rotary union assembly that is isolated from the lubrication area, which inhibits the pressurized air from the central tire inflation system from pressurizing the lubrication area.

Abstract: A remotely controlled hub clutch assembly includes an axle member and a wheel hub member rotatably mounted on a vehicle housing member. A pair of relatively movable coupling portions provide an engageable and disengageable driving connection between the axle member and the wheel hub member. A mechanical or hydraulic actuation device connected to one of the coupling members moves the coupling members into coupling engagement in response to operator actuation of a control device located in the vehicle operator's compartment. Interconnecting structure operatively connects the actuation device to the control device. The interconnecting structure extends through the end of the axle, wheel hub or housing member near which that member is mounted and remote from the outboard end of the hub assembly. Abstract: A detachable undercarriage for use on adverse terrain vehicles comprises an elongate hollow load-bearing frame having three or four axles rotatably supported thereon. Sprockets are mounted on at least two of the axles, and chains are constrained around the sprockets to drivingly interconnect the axles. The center axle in the three axle embodiment and the center two axles in the four axle embodiment are positioned below a plane extending through the axes of rotation of the outermost two axles to facilitate skid steering of vehicles incorporating the undercarriage. Alternatively, all the axles can be aligned with larger wheels mounted on the center axle in the three axle embodiment or the center two axles in the four axle embodiment to facilitate skid steering. In certain applications of the nonaligned axle embodiments structure is provided for selectively aligning all the axles to increase vehicle stability. Also included in the undercarriage is a drive assembly having a motor connected to a transmission mounted inboard or outboard of the frame. In one configuration, an endmost axle is chain driven from the transmission, with the middle axle being chain driven from the endmost axle. In an alternate configuration, an endmost axle and the middle axle are directly chain driven from the transmission.
