Abstract: A vehicle braking device includes a first supply unit supplying fluid to main flow channels connected to wheel cylinders of a vehicle, a differential solenoid valve provided on the main flow channels and generating a differential pressure across the differential solenoid valve, a second supply unit supplying fluid to the wheel cylinders by drawing at least some fluid supplied from the first supply unit through branch flow channels branching off from the main flow channels upstream of the differential solenoid valve, and a setting unit setting a supply amount of fluid supplied from the first supply unit in accordance with a draw amount of fluid drawn by the second supply unit.

The integrated electronic brake apparatus includes a main controller provided in a first area and configured to: drive a braking motor according to an operation of a pedal, drive an additional braking valve for additional braking, and generate a main control monitoring signal; the sub-controller provided in a second area and configured to: drive a main braking valve for braking of a vehicle and the braking motor according to the operation of the pedal, control a power of the additional braking valve, and generate a sub-control monitoring signal; and a connection bus configured to transfer a transmission/reception signal between the main controller and the sub-controller by connecting the first area and the second area within an enclosure with each other.

Abstract: A braking system including four hydraulically actuatable wheel brakes. A normally closed outlet valve is assigned to each wheel brake and a normally open inlet valve is assigned to each wheel brake. Two pressure supply devices are provided for active pressure build-up in the wheel brakes. A first and a second brake circuit are hydraulically configured with two wheel brakes respectively, wherein in each brake circuit a respective pressure supply device is hydraulically connected to two wheel brakes. A first and a second control and regulating unit are provided, wherein the first control and regulating unit electrically controls the pressure supply device of the first brake circuit, and wherein the second control and regulating unit hydraulically controls the pressure supply device of the second brake circuit, and the two control and regulating units are connected together via a data interface.

Abstract: A brake system may include an actuating device, in particular a brake pedal; a first piston-cylinder unit having two pistons subjecting the brake circuits to a pressure medium via a valve device, wherein one of the pistons can be actuated by the actuation device; a second piston-cylinder unit having an electric motor drive, a transmission at least one piston to supply at least one of the brake circuits with a pressure medium via a valve device; and a motor pump unit with a valve device to supply the brake circuits with a pressure medium. The brake system may also include a hydraulic travel simulator with a pressure or working chamber which is connected to the first piston-cylinder unit.

Abstract: A brake system may have at least two wheel brake cylinders that are parts of respective wheel circuits, a pressure supply arranged to build up pressure in the wheel brake cylinders, an electronic control and regulation device, and switching valves connecting respective wheel brake cylinders, via respective hydraulic lines, to a further hydraulic main line. The further hydraulic main line may connect the wheel brake cylinders to the pressure supply. Redundancy may be built into the switching valves.

Abstract: A vehicle braking system includes a first wheel cylinder, a second wheel cylinder, a master cylinder including a first master cylinder chamber in fluid communication with the first wheel cylinder via a first circuit and a second master cylinder chamber in fluid communication with the second wheel cylinder via a second circuit, and an electronically controlled pressure generating unit separate from the master cylinder. The vehicle braking system is operable to provide braking in a first configuration in which the electronically controlled pressure generating unit pressurizes fluid, through the master cylinder, in the first circuit, to the first wheel cylinder. In the first configuration, the electronically controlled pressure generating unit pressurizes fluid in the second circuit to the second wheel cylinder, bypassing the master cylinder.

Abstract: A vehicle pedal stroke detection apparatus acquires a first value based on a physical amount regarding a magnetic flux of a magnet that is output from a stroke sensor. The first value is a physical amount regarding a magnitude of a magnetic flux density of the magnet with respect to a displacement of a push rod. Then, the vehicle pedal stroke detection apparatus compares the first value and a second value. The second value is a preset physical amount regarding the magnitude of the magnetic flux density of the magnet with respect to the displacement of the push rod.

Abstract: A method for optimizing the meterability of brake force in an ABS braking with a brake-by-wire brake system. The method includes various steps. First, a driver brake request is sensed by a pedal force simulator. In addition, a trigger point (A) of an ABS braking is recognized. In the case of a recognized ABS braking, there is a correction of the sensed driver brake request such that, upon recognizing the trigger point (A) during a reduction of the sensed driver brake request, the corrected driver brake request is reduced to the extent that ABS braking is no longer present. The corrected driver brake request is subsequently implemented by building up a corresponding brake pressure in a brake device of the brake system.

Abstract: A brake system (1) for braking a vehicle is disclosed. The brake system comprises a brake pedal control unit (4a1) configured to receive a brake pedal signal from a brake pedal sensor (21) and to respond with a primary deceleration intent signal onto a network, a brake actuator control unit (4b1) configured to activate a brake actuator (31) in response to a deceleration intent signal received from the network. The brake system (1) further comprises a central vehicle control unit (VCU) (6) that is configured to generate a secondary deceleration intent signal in response to the primary deceleration intent signal based on an overall state of the vehicle and a mode control unit (MCU) (8) to configure the brake system in an operational mode selected from at least a normal operational mode (N) and a degraded operational mode (D). The brake actuator control unit (4b1) is configured to activate the brake actuator (31) in response to a secondary deceleration intent signal in the normal operational mode and to activate the brake actuator (31) in response to the primary deceleration intent signal in the degraded operational mode (D) for applying degraded (emergency) braking to the vehicle.
