摘要: Disclosed are an electroluminescent polymer based on phenanthroimidazole units, a preparation method therefor, and the use thereof. The electroluminescent polymer based on phenanthroimidazole units has a structure as shown in the formula (I), and the side chain thereof contains phenanthroimidazole units. The electroluminescent polymer (1) has the properties of hybridized local and charge-transfer states, which can improve the utilization of excitons and the electroluminescence properties of devices by means of reverse inter-system crossing to effectively utilize triplet state excitons; (2) the phenanthroimidazole unit has a large degree of conjugation and a strong rigidity, which can not only improve the thermal stability of a material, but can also increase the radiation transition rate of the material and improve the light-emitting efficiency thereof; and (3) the raw materials of the polymer are cheap, the synthetic route is simple, and purification is convenient, which is beneficial for industrial scaled-up production thereof. The polymer has a good solubility, and can be used to prepare large-area flexible display devices by means of a solution processing technology. The polymer has great development potential and prospects in the field of organic electronic display.

摘要: Water soluble light harvesting multichromophores that have an ultraviolet absorption maximum are provided. In some embodiments, the multichromophores include a conjugated segment including a fused 6-5-6 tricyclic co-monomer and a UV absorbance-modifying co-monomer. The multichromophores may include an acceptor chromophore covalently linked to the multichromophore in energy-receiving proximity therewith. In some embodiments, a specific binding member is covalently linked to the multichromophore. Also provided are methods of evaluating a sample for the presence of a target analyte and methods of labelling a target molecule using compositions including the light harvesting multichromophores. Kits and systems for practicing the subject methods are also provided.

摘要: Water solvated polymeric dyes and polymeric tandem dyes are provided. The polymeric dyes include a water solvated light harvesting multichromophore having a conjugated segment of aryl or heteroaryl co-monomers linked via covalent bonds, vinylene groups or ethynylene groups. The polymeric tandem dyes further include a signaling chromophore covalently linked to the multichromophore in energy-receiving proximity therewith. Also provided are labeled specific binding members that include the subject polymeric dyes. Methods of evaluating a sample for the presence of a target analyte and methods of labeling a target molecule in which the subject polymeric dyes find use are also provided. Systems and kits for practicing the subject methods are also provided.

摘要: There is provided a material comprising a n-doped electrically conductive polymer comprising at least one electron-deficient aromatic moiety, each electron-deficient aromatic moiety having a gas-phase electron affinity (EA) of 1-3 eV; and at least one counter-cation covalently bonded to the polymer or to a further polymer comprised in the material, the polymer being n-doped to a charge density of 0.1-1 electron per electron-deficient aromatic moiety, the polymer being capable of forming a layer having a vacuum workfunction (WF) of 2.5-4.5 eV, and wherein all the counter-cations comprised in the material are immobilised such that any electron in the polymer cannot significantly diffuse or migrate out of the polymer. There is also provided a method of preparing the material.
