Abstract:
A hydraulic system, mining machine and method of controlling a hydraulic actuator. The hydraulic system (HS) is provided with a control valve (23) for controlling movement direction and speed of a hydraulic actuator (HA) connected to the system. Generated force of the hydraulic actuator is controlled independently relative to the control valve by means of counterbalance valves (Cb1, Cb2) and servo valves (Sv1, Sv2) controlling their opening pressure. The counterbalance valves and the servo valves operate as a meter-out control assembly which controls flow of hydraulic fluid discharged from working pressure spaces (16a, 16b) of the hydraulic actuator. The disclosed system may be implemented to control a mining boom (3) of a mining machine (1).
Abstract:
An electromagnetic switching valve, for which the maximum opening is set to be small, is disposed on piping between a lift cylinder and a hydraulic pump motor. A pilot check valve, for which the maximum opening is set to be larger than the electromagnetic switching valve, is disposed on piping, different from the piping, between the lift cylinder and the hydraulic pump motor. In addition, during lowering operations, first, the electromagnetic switching valve is opened, and then after the same is opened, the pilot check valve is opened after a prescribed time has passed. Thus, the shock generated when lowering an object to be raised/lowered is reduced and a fork is operated quickly.
Abstract:
A valve system, for use with a cylinder having an extensible rod, includes a first valve assembly having a first inlet/outlet port, a check valve biased toward a closed state, the check valve having a check valve body at least partially receivable within a first port of the cylinder, a flow control valve positioned in series between the first inlet/outlet port and the check valve, and a first pilot port selectively communicable with a source of pressurized gas for opening the check valve. The valve system further includes a second valve assembly having a second inlet/outlet port, a second pilot port through which the pressurized gas must flow before being introduced to the first pilot port, and a valve body at least partially receivable within a second port of the cylinder.

Abstract:
In a hydraulic system which is biased to a minimum system pressure using a bias valve or other flow obstruction disposed in a tank line, there is provided in a bypass line to the bias valve an evacuating and filling valve through which the hydraulic system is first evacuatable and subsequently fillable with a hydraulic fluid. The valve closes the bypass when a differential pressure overcomes a preadjusted force of a spring element. For this purpose, the valve possesses a displaceably mounted valve body with an integrated throttle and a seal face which closes a through opening when the valve body is shifted against the bias force of the spring element due to the pressure difference.
Abstract:
A choke valve of the clutch release cylinder wherein the actuating oil is slowly discharged when the clutch pedal is released, and when the clutch pedal is depressed, resistance to the actuating oil is minimized for the actuating oil to be swiftly and smoothly supplied to the clutch release cylinder, thereby improving the responsiveness of the clutch and preventing occurrences of noise and vibration when the clutch is in operation.
Abstract:
A valve unit having an overridable check valve. On a valve housing a first and a second power connection are provided, which are connected by way of a power duct, on which an overridable check valve is placed, which may be overridden by a fluid control signal, such control signal being able to be supplied to a signal input connection on the valve housing. The valve housing is additionally fitted with a signal output connection communicating with the power duct.
Abstract:
A valve arrangement including a release valve. The valve arrangement controls a cylinder assembly including a first port and a second port, and a cylinder slideably housing a piston for movement between an extended position and a retracted position. The valve arrangement includes a valve assembly in fluid communication with the source of fluid pressure and with the first port and the second port to control fluid flow between the source and the first port and second port, and a release valve fluidly connected to the first port and to the second port, the release valve being operable to control flow of fluid from the first port and from the second port. The release valve is movable between a closed position and an open position. Fluid flows from both the first port and the second port simultaneously when the release valve member is in the open position.
