    摘要: A process for increasing the excitation current, particularly when activating the alternator, whose rectified alternator voltage is regulated by way of a regulator, is provided. For regulating the alternator voltage, the regulator sets the excitation current of an excitation winding of the alternator. The regulator further receives a phase signal. A rapid increasing of the excitation current to a defined value takes place, during which the phase signal is analyzed simultaneously. This rapid increasing continues until the phase signal or a quantity derived therefrom meets a defined condition with respect to the alternator voltage. Therefore, a further increasing of the excitation current takes place, preferably at a rate of change reduced with respect to the previous rapid increase.

The method includes: representing angular position and rotational speed of virtual generator rotor using numerical variables; measuring the inverter's output current; calculating virtual electromagnetic torque acting on the virtual generator rotor from: measured inverter output current and variable representing virtual excitation current; calculating rotational speed of the virtual rotor from: virtual electromagnetic torque, variable representing virtual drive torque applied to the virtual generator rotor, and parameter representing the rotor's virtual inertia; calculating, from the variables representing angular position and rotational speed of virtual generator rotor, and excitation current, control signal for controlling the inverter to produce AC output which corresponds to that of the virtual synchronous generator; and implementing first feedback loop in which deviation of rotational speed of virtual generator rotor from a reference rotational speed is detected and used to adjust the virtual drive torque.

    摘要: A synchronous electrical machine comprises a plurality of phases and detecting means arranged to detect an open-circuit fault in at least one of the phases of the synchronous electrical machine. Isolating means is arranged to isolate the at least one phase of the synchronous electrical machine with the fault. Phase shift means are arranged to produce a controlled phase shift between the voltage and the current within the remaining phases of the synchronous electrical machine so as to adjust the phase angle of the second harmonic powers produced by the remaining phases of the synchronous electrical machine such that the vector sum of the second harmonic power vectors of the remaining phases of the synchronous electrical machine is zero to eliminate torque ripple. The phase shift means is arranged to adjust the phase angle of all the remaining phases by the same predetermined angle to maximize the torque ripple-free power output of the synchronous electrical machine.

The control section is configured to start on-off control of the switching elements based on the voltage zero-cross points detected by the voltage zero-cross detecting section.

The generator comprises a stator and a set of terminals connected to the stator and to the switches of the power converter. The method comprises: determining a stator flux reference value corresponding to a generator power of a desired magnitude, determining an estimated stator flux value corresponding to an actual generator power, determining a difference between the determined stator flux reference value and the estimated stator flux value, and operating said switches in correspondence to the determined stator flux reference value and the estimated stator flux value to adapt at least one stator electrical quantity to obtain said desired generator power magnitude.

A power converter receives on and off commands from the electronic control unit in response to vehicle voltage measurements by the electronic control unit.

An exciter system such as this results in the capability to briefly increase the excitation in a simple, functionally reliable and space-saving manner, by inserting a forward-biased diode (22) into the exciter circuit, and by the capability to connect the second device (23) to the diode (22), in the reverse-bias direction, in order to feed the energy into the exciter circuit.
