摘要： An AVR device in accordance with one or more embodiments connects audio and video source devices to audio and video rendering devices. A front panel user interface including a display is integrated in the housing of the AVR device. Input-output (IO) modules are coupled to a backplane board in the housing to be connected to the source devices and the rendering devices. The IO modules include at least one network interface. System-on-Modules (SoMs) are mounted on the backplane board. The SoMs are configured to decode and process audio and video data received from the audio and video source devices for rendering by the audio and video rendering devices and execute an operating system generating a GUI displayed on the display of the front panel user interface. A video subsystem module on the backplane board is configured to route the audio and video data between the plurality of SoMs and the IO modules.

摘要： Embodiments described herein involve an auxiliary zone contributing audio to a primary zone. In an example implementation, a network media system determines that a first zone in the network media system is playing back a first type of audio content and that a second zone in the network media system is not playing back audio content. While the first zone is playing back the first type of audio content and the second zone is not playing back audio content, the network media system forms a temporarily playback configuration. In the temporary playback configuration, the first zone plays back primary audio content including full frequency range audio content and the second playback device of the second zone plays back auxiliary audio content including low frequency range audio content.

The smart device is associated with a virtual user account to control a plurality of controllable devices with a device app installed on a smart device. The one-time use code is provided to a controllable device and the controllable device is caused to provide the one-time use code back to the smart device. The app causes the one-time use code provided back to the smart device by the controllable device to be authenticated. In response to the one-time use code being authenticated, the controllable device is bound to the app whereupon the controllable device is controllable through use of the app.
