摘要: A method and apparatus for drying foodstuffs of plant or animal origin that includes introducing the foodstuffs to be dried into a drying chamber for drying and heating the foodstuffs to a temperature which causes an evaporation of water contained in the foodstuffs until the amount of water contained in the foodstuffs is reduced to a predetermined value indicating that the foodstuffs are dried. The heating of the foodstuffs is performed by generating an oscillating magnetic field such that prior to said heating, the pressure inside said drying chamber is reduced to a predetermined value below atmospheric pressure.

摘要: A method of preparing the instant whole wheat crisps includes: using whole wheat grains as raw materials, fully soaking the whole wheat grains to make the whole wheat grains absorb water until saturating, and then performing cooking, extruding, sheeting, and microwave vacuum drying to obtain the instant whole wheat crisps. In the present disclosure, no artificial additive is added in the processing process, and the wheat grains are extruded and dried at a low temperature, which conforms to the current trend of “clean label” foods. Moreover, the whole wheat grains are processed into crisps, which are unadulterated whole wheat foods and conforms to the current trend of whole grains.

摘要: A MATZHU is prepared by using leaves of Gramineae (Graminae) and Bambusoideae plant as raw materials. The MATZHU has a stable emerald color and an average powder particle size of 800 to 10,000 meshes. The MATZHU also has a total amount of dietary fiber of ≥60%, a content of lignin of ≥20% and a content of minerals of ≥7%. The MATZHU includes at least three or more bamboo leaf characteristic components, such as orientin, isoorientin, vitexin, isovitexin, adenosine, δ-hydroxylysine and p-coumaric acid. The method for the MATZHU preparation includes, in turn, performing blanching and color protection, drying and superfine grinding the raw materials. By utilizing the thermal stability and the light stability of the MATZHU, the MATZHU may be used as a raw food material, a functional ingredient, or a dietary supplement.

Bulk material is introduced into the rotary tube, which is provided on its inner wall with at least one mixing element and in the interior space of which the pressure of the ambient atmosphere prevails. A heat treatment of the bulk material is performed by at least one electrical infrared light unit, which is arranged at the center of the rotary tube and the light cone of which is directed onto the bed of bulk material that lies on the inner wall of the rotary tube. The bulk material is discharged from the rotary tube. Water vapor is directed onto the surface of the bulk material. The vapor is introduced into the interior space of the rotary tube through a nozzle tube.

摘要: The invention relates to a process and apparatus for ultrasonic assisted drying of materials, in particular, but not exclusively, for the low temperature drying of materials that are heat sensitive. In particular, there is provided an apparatus for dehydration of water containing material comprising: an ultrasound emitter; an ultrasound transmission platform that directly or indirectly supports said material; a fluid retained between said emitter and said platform, through which ultrasound energy is transferred; and a gas stream device that directs drying gas to said material. There is also provided a method of dehydration of water containing material comprising locating the material either directly or indirectly on an ultrasound transmission platform of a dehydration apparatus that comprises: an ultrasound emitter; a fluid retained between said emitter and said platform, through which ultrasound energy is transferred; and a gas stream device that directs drying gas to said material; and exposing said material to ultrasound energy and drying gas flow for a time and under conditions suitable to achieve desired extent of dehydration of said material. In another aspect there is provided a material that has been dehydrated using the method or apparatus described above.

摘要: An apparatus 20 for microwave vacuum-drying organic materials such as foods and bioactives has a plurality of microwave generators 50 actuated so as to cause interference between their respective microwave streams and evenly distribute the microwave energy across the vacuum chamber 34. The microwave-transparent window 36 in the chamber is arranged so the organic material to be dried is moved across it on a conveyor belt 60 and the microwave energy passing into the chamber 34 immediately encounters the organic materials, thus attenuating the energy and reducing arcing.
