    摘要: The present invention discloses an apparatus and method for cleaning an exhaust conduit that has chemical substances deposited on its inside wall by utilizing a shaft that has a plurality of scraping elements mounted thereto capable of making vertically or radially oscillating motions inside the exhaust conduit such that the chemical substances can be dislodged from the inside wall and the exhaust conduit can be effectively cleaned. The apparatus may optionally include fluid nozzles provided in the shaft for dispensing a cleaning fluid during the cleaning process to further enhance the efficiency. The apparatus may further include a vacuum device for effectively removing the debris dislodged from the inside wall during such cleaning process.

    摘要: A portable inflatable heating, ventilating and air conditioning duct apparatus includes a bladder made of resilient material for expansion and contraction. The bladder has a small opening for the movement of air in and out of the bladder. An elongate flexible hose is connected at one end with the small opening on the bladder. An air pump is positioned at the opposing end of the elongate flexible hose for supplying air under low positive pressure to the bladder for expansion of the bladder. A manually operated valve is positioned between the air pump and the bladder for preventing the escape of air from the bladder, unless same is desired. The apparatus further includes direction stabilizing apparatus for allowing the flexible hose to push the bladder through a segment of the HVAC duct in which the apparatus is positioned.

In the cleaning method, a basic solution, for example, is circulated through the system to change the surface potential of fine particles in the system from an opposite to the same polarity as that of elements constituting the system, thereby facilitating the removal of the fine particles, and the fine particles are then discharged from the system to outside together with the basic solution. The cleaning method has excellent cleaning capability and also makes it possible to shorten the rinsing time required for removing the residual constituent of the cleaning solution.

    摘要: Currently, there are no products available which allow a user to treat microbial and bacterial growth inside a HVAC condensate drain line or clear a clogged line without cutting into the drain line. Our valve is an in-line condensate drain line valve that can be installed easily, quickly and economically, either during new construction or onto existing HVAC systems. The HVAC user can add household bleach to the condensate line, which inhibits microbial and bacterial growth without cutting into or disassembling the drain line. The design of our valve allows the user to perform safe routine maintenance to the HVAC drainage system without having to resort to expensive and repetitive service call repairs over the lifetime of the HVAC system. The valve is further designed to prevent undesirable reverse airflows into the HVAC system and home or building, caused by a dry water trap in the condensate drain. The prevention of reverse airflows and reduction of microbial and bacterial growth will have a positive impact of Indoor Air Quality.

    摘要: An improved composition and method for cleaning and disinfecting a garbage disposal that does not require aerosol propellants or carbon dioxide gas generating reaction systems. The composition comprises a suds stabilizing surfactant and a disinfecting agent, plus other optional ingredients such as additional detergent surfactant and scouring agents. In the method of cleaning and disinfecting, a flow of water is provided to the garbage disposal and the composition is then added while the garbage disposal is turned on. The mechanical action of the garbage disposal grinder blades rapidly mixes the composition with water to create suds and disperse the suds around the entire interior chamber, thus cleansing and disinfecting the garbage disposal. After the suds are generated, the flow of water is discontinued, with the garbage disposal being turned off within about 1 minute after the flow of water is discontinued.

The pipe cleaning device of the present invention is capable of (a) penetrating and removing restrictions that block flow, (b) scouring the interior wall of conduits or pipes to remove the buildup of undesirable solids that result in flow restriction, and (c) coating the wall of the pipe with a suitable substance. The present invention comprises a connecting member housed within a bendable or flexible conduit, a retraction handle attached to one end of the connecting member, and elastic or flexible strands attached to the opposite end of said connecting member. The strands are outwardly expandable in a radial dimension when said connecting member is retracted.
