摘要： Illustrative embodiments of diaphragm assemblies for diaphragm pumps and methods for manufacturing such diaphragm assemblies are disclosed. In at least one illustrative embodiment, a diaphragm pump may include an inflexible central core and a flexible diaphragm body surrounding the inflexible central core. The inflexible central core may include a reinforced thermoplastic and the flexible diaphragm body may include a thermoplastic elastomer. The flexible diaphragm body is bonded directly to the inflexible central core. The diaphragm assembly may include a mounting bolt having a head end and a threaded end. The inflexible central core surrounds the head end of the mounting bolt and the threaded end of the mounting bolt extends outside of the inflexible central core. The inflexible central core may include multiple raised features that cooperate to define cavities in the inflexible central core. The flexible diaphragm body fills the cavities of the inflexible central core.

摘要： An operating unit for a fluid-operated diaphragm actuator, the unit consisting of a drive diaphragm, two retaining elements flanking the drive diaphragm on opposite sides and an output rod extending through these components. The drive diaphragm is mounted on the output rod by being clamped between the two retaining elements with a predetermined clamping force, wherein each of the two retaining elements is fixed on the output rod by means of a welded connection. The outer rim is continuously sealed and joined by laser welding over the entire circumference of the outer rim. The thickness of the tip of the outer rim is set in correspondence with the spot diameter of a laser beam at the tip of the outer rim. A weld bead is formed by welding in the entire area of the tip of the outer rim.

摘要： A motor-pump unit, for providing pressure for a brake actuating device having a pneumatic brake booster including a pump and an electric motor driving the pump, the pump being a dual diaphragm pump having two opposed working diaphragms, each of which is clamped between a pump casing and a working chamber cover and delimits a working chamber, and moveable by a crank drive having connecting rods and bearings, the working diaphragm connected firmly to a tappet and, together with the connecting rod, in each case forming a diaphragm unit. In order to provide a low-noise motor-pump unit which is more cost-effective and requires reduced expenditure on assembly, the connecting rods are made of plastic, wherein in each case one tappet and one bearing are encapsulated with the material of the connecting rod. Alternatively, the connecting rods can be formed in one piece with the tappet and provided as sintered components.
