    Abstract: A coil spring of a throttle valve device around a shaft between a valve and a valve gear has one end rotated together with a first guide, and another end rotated together with a second guide. The both ends of the coil spring contact a holding portion and a driving portion at a valve intermediate position of the shaft. The driving portion pushes the one end of the coil spring while the holding portion holds the other end of the coil spring during movement of the shaft from the valve intermediate position toward a valve fully-open position or a valve fully-closed position. The first guide and the second guide have insertion holes that face each other in an axial direction when the both ends of the coil spring are positioned near the valve intermediate position of the shaft and are not in contact with the holding portion.

    Abstract: A valve device (20) includes male and female housings (22, 24) that together define a fluid through-passage (28). The male and female housings have, respectively, exterior and interior annular channels (22a, 24a). The male housing is receivable into the female housing such that the exterior and interior annular channels together define a toroidal tube. First and second valve elements (30, 32) are disposed, respectively, in the male and female housings. Ball locks (36) are receivable into the toroidal tube and axially lock the male and female housings together. A lock (40) engageable when the first and second valve elements are in functional alignment and which when engaged rotationally locks the male and female housings.

    Abstract: Provided is a throttle device including two throttle bodies having motors that face to each other, in which the wiring base member is compactly placed. A throttle device 1 includes first and second throttle bodies 2 and 3. The first and second throttle bodies 2 and 3 each include a gear case 10 that houses a deceleration mechanism 9 that transmits the rotational force of the motor 8 to the throttle shaft 6. A wiring base member 7 having a power coupler 14 is fixed between the first and second throttle bodies 2 and 3 while being placed between these gear cases 10. The wiring base member 7 has wiring 32 embedded therein, the wiring 32 connecting the motor terminal 25 of each motor 8, the motor terminal 25 protruding into the gear case 10, and the power coupler 14.

    Abstract: A valve assembly includes a valve body defining a valve passage and a valve seat disposed within the valve body. The valve assembly also includes a valve actuator moveable between a closed position in which the valve actuator is sealed against the valve seat to close the valve passage and an open position in which the valve actuator is spaced apart from the valve seat to open the valve passage. The valve assembly includes a valve seat retainer disposed within the valve body in contact with the valve seat. The valve seat retainer is configured to impart both an axial support force and a lateral support force on the valve seat to prevent extrusion of the valve seat when the valve actuator is sealed against the valve seat in the closed position.
