摘要: Embodiments provide approaches to selectively integrate with various providers based on reliability factors, user preferences, and/or other criteria. For example, a user in a location where an on-demand provider is available may attempt to utilize services provided by the on-demand provider in a different location where the on-demand provider has limited or no services available, but where one or more other on-demand providers may be available. The user may attempt to access services provided by the on-demand provider using an application provided by the on-demand provider. However, in the situation where the user is in the location where services provided by the on-demand provider are not available, the user would have to secure other means of accessing those services. In such a situation the user may be able to utilize the application to request services with at least one partner on-demand provider. This can include, for example, enabling the user to use the application to access such services, and thus maintain a familiar front-end user experience, while on the backend a flexible application program interface (API) framework is utilized to enable requests to partner on-demand providers who can satisfy requests on behalf of the on-demand provider.

摘要: Systems and methods for detecting predetermined events occurring during delivery of an ordered product to a delivery address is provided. Upon receipt of a customer order, delivery of the ordered product is assigned to a delivery driver/vehicle which includes a stand-alone communication device disposed in the delivery vehicle. As the delivery trip begins, various position and acceleration information is collected by the communication device, processed to determine whether a predetermined driving event has occurred, and stored. This information is transmitted periodically to a processing system for eventual communication to a home location store associated with the delivery order. Additional processing of the delivery trip data may occur to enable a review of the delivery trip and any detected events along the delivery path.

摘要: Systems and methods for providing headset/ear bud voice control to crew members in a quick-service restaurant are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: transmit transmission signals from a headset to the base station, receive reception signals by the headset from the base station; capture audio information from a first crew member, generate sound based on the received reception signals, generate the transmission signals to form a headset-specific uplink packet based on the captured audio information; generate semantic information based on the headset-specific uplink packet, wherein the semantic information includes one or more individual words; determine one or more commands that modify operation of the communication system, based on the semantic information, and facilitate execution of the one or more commands to control and/or modify the operation of the communication system.

摘要: A method includes, transmitting, prior to an end time of an event to a plurality of driver computing devices, navigational data to direct the plurality of driver computing devices to navigate to a location of the event to transport passengers. The transmitting is based on a schedule for arriving at the location of the event prior to receipt of transportation requests. The method further includes, subsequent to the transmitting of the navigational data, communicating with an event information source of a second server device during the event to obtain updated information regarding how much time is remaining prior to the end time of the event. The method further includes, responsive to generating an updated schedule based on the updated information received during the event, directing the plurality of driver computing devices to the location of the event based on the updated schedule.

摘要: A ride service system will determine a stopping location for an autonomous vehicle (AV) before the AV picks up a passenger in response to a ride service request. The system will determine a pickup area for the request, along with a loading point within a pickup area, and the AV will navigate along the route toward the pickup area. Before the AV reaches the pickup area, the system will determine whether it received a departure confirmation indicating that the passenger is at the loading point. If the system received the departure confirmation, the AV will navigate into the pickup area and stop at the loading point; otherwise, the AV will either (a) navigate to an intermediate stopping location before reaching the pickup area or (b) pass through the pickup area.

摘要: A boat ramp occupancy indicator system having a server entity with database, a first input for receiving current weather and tidal information, a second input for receiving traffic information, and a plurality of smart phones having an end-user application operating therein. The system communicating with each one of the end-user applications operating on a smart phone. When a smart phone, operating the end-user application, is located at or near a selected boat ramp, the system sends a push notification to such user inquiring if the user is located at the boat ramp. The system determining, regardless of whether or not the user responds to the sent push notification, how busy the selected boat ramp is. The system, based upon how busy the selected boat ramp is determined to be, sending out informative notifications to other users who have designated the select boat ramp as a favorite boat ramp.
