Abstract: An array substrate and a drive method thereof, a touch control display and a display apparatus are provided. An array substrate includes, in part, a gate line layer configured with a multitude of gate lines, and a common electrode layer configured with a multitude of common electrodes. The common electrodes further operate as touch control electrodes with a projection on the array substrate along a direction substantially perpendicular to the array substrate. The projection covers n gate lines, where n is a positive integral number. At least one of the touch control electrodes comprises n sub common electrodes each having a projection on the array substrate along the direction substantially perpendicular to the array substrate covering one of the gate lines. Accordingly, less flicks or stripes appear on the display.

Abstract: A display panel, a display device, and a pressure sensing method are provided. The display panel includes a display region, a non-display region, a scanning driving circuit in the non-display region, a plurality of scanning lines extending in a first direction and being arranged in a second direction, and at least one pressure sensing unit. Each of the scanning lines is connected to one of output terminals of the scanning driving circuit and the first direction is perpendicular to the second direction. Each pressure sensing unit includes a first input terminal, a second input terminal, and a first output terminal. The first input terminal and the second input terminal are connected to different output terminals of the scanning driving circuit respectively, and the first output terminal is used for outputting a pressure sensing signal.

Abstract: A flexible display device, a flexible display device fabrication method and an electronic device are provided. The flexible display device comprises a flexible display panel having a first surface for displaying images; a flexible insulating layer disposed on the first surface of the flexible display panel and divided into a plurality of flexible insulating blocks; and a touch control unit disposed on the flexible insulating layer and comprising a first touch control electrode layer in direct contact with the flexible insulating layer. The first touch control electrode layer includes a plurality of first touch control electrodes. Any one of the plurality of flexible insulating blocks corresponds to at least one of the plurality of first touch control electrodes. In a direction perpendicular to the flexible display panel, a gap between any two adjacent flexible insulating blocks overlaps with a gap between two adjacent first touch control electrodes.

Abstract: In general, embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for a touch display panel and a touch display device including a touch display panel. The touch display panel includes: a substrate, and a common electrode layer located on the substrate. The common electrode layer includes multiple touch electrodes insulated from each other. Each of the touch electrodes is electrically connected to a driving circuit via at least one touch lead. A part of the touch electrodes are divided into multiple sub-electrodes by touch leads adjacent to the divided touch electrodes. The sub-electrodes of each of the touch electrodes are electrically connected to each other via at least one bridge, to reduce parasitic capacitances between the touch leads and the touch electrodes and alleviate an influence from the parasitic capacitances on touch performance.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel includes: a first polarization layer, a second polarization layer, and a liquid crystal layer located between the two polarization layers. Liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer are initially aligned along a first direction. At least one first region and at least one second region are defined in the first polarization layer and the second polarization layer. In the first region, the absorption axis of the first polarization layer extends along the first direction while the absorption axis of the second polarization layer is perpendicular to the first direction. In the second region, the absorption axis of the first polarization layer extends along a second direction while the absorption axis of the second polarization layer is perpendicular to the second direction. A first angle formed by the second direction and the first direction is greater than 0 degree but less than 90 degrees.

Abstract: An array substrate, a display device and a method for fabrication the array substrate are provided. The array substrate comprises a base substrate; gate lines and data lines; pixel electrodes; a common electrode layer including at least one first slot and at least one second slot at least partially overlapped with the first slot; at least one shielding electrode disposed above the data line; and at least one shielding branch electrode disposed above the gate line and electrically connected to the shielding electrode. Abstract: An array substrate and a liquid crystal display panel including the array substrate are provided. The array substrate includes: multiple pixel units; at least one additional functional area located in each row of a matrix formed by the multiple pixel units, where the additional functional area is provided with a gate signal detecting transistor; and a detection signal output line and a preset signal line connected with each other. By detecting whether a drive signal on a gate line is normal using the gate signal detecting transistor, the problem of manually detecting one-by one whether a signal on a gate line is normal can be avoided, thereby improving the detection efficiency and accuracy.
