Abstract:
A door closer is described, which has an output shaft, on which a cam disc is torsion-resistantly disposed, and has a pressure roller. By means of an operational connection, a closer spring presses the pressure roller against a running surface of the cam disc. In relation to an axial center of the output shaft, the pressure roller is disposed such that, during opening or closing of a swing leaf coupled to the output shaft, the pressure roller is movable along a path. Due to the fact that the path bypasses the axial center of the output shaft and on account of the configuration of the running surface of the cam disc, at a respective opening angle of the swing leaf, in different modes of operation of the door closer, a very similar or identical torque is respectively applied to the output shaft.
Abstract:
A hinge for a closing door of a compartment, of the type having a first and a second body, respectively integral to the door and to the frame of the corresponding compartment, or vice versa, and mutually hinged by at least one pin, first elastic means mounted on the second body and acting upon the first body, and at least one dampening device fixed to the second body, acting upon the first body and actuated by at least a first slider, functionally connected to the dampener, and by at least a second slider, configured for engaging, directly or indirectly, the aforesaid first body in correspondence of at least a certain angular range assumed by the first body with respect to the second body during their relative rotation, whereby the second slider is actuated in translation by the first body when engaged therewith, as well as constraining means between the first slider and the second slider. Advantagiously, the aforesaid constraining means include at least a lever pivoted to the second body, and the aforesaid first and second slider are constrained at least in rotation to one lever.
Abstract:
A folding door with two or more intrinsically rigid folding shutter elements with alternating noncollapsing and collapsing element edges, with at least one guide means which can be raised and lowered on or in one or more guide rail(s), for moving a, in particular the lower, permanently guide rail-adjacent, noncollapsing door element edge, wherein at least one release movement means, which is provided for the initial release movement of the permanently guide rail-adjacent door element edge from the guide rail(s), at the beginning of the opening of the folding door, and for the final advance movement of the permanently guide rail-adjacent door element edge at the end of the closing of the folding door, and an actuation device and method for the same.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a sliding door arrangement including a sliding door, a rail system, with a rail which guides a sliding motion of the door, and an attenuation and retraction device, which brakes the sliding motion of the door at a brake position in the vicinity of a door end position and retracts the door to the end position. The door has a wheel, which is arranged to run on the rail, a pin, slideably mounted on the door, which is arranged to interact with the attenuation and retraction device, and optionally a pin movement limiting device, which, at least in a mounting position, limits the movement of the pin such that it does not extend further from the door than does said wheel.
Abstract:
An elevator door system includes an elevator car having a front face defining a door opening. At least one elevator door is coupled to the front face of the elevator car for movement between an open position exposing the door opening and a closed position covering the door opening. At least one drive motor is mounted on the front face of the elevator car and is disposed between a lower edge and an upper edge of the elevator car. The drive motor is drivingly coupled to the elevator door for moving the elevator door between the open and the closed positions.
Abstract:
A door closing device (10) for an automatic closing of a door leaf (B) coupled with a floor and/or a doorpost (S) so as to swing. The door closing device (10) comprises a fixed unit (12) that is fixed on the floor and/or the doorpost (S), a translating unit (14) and a rotating unit (16) on which the door leaf (B) is fixed. The coupling of the three units (12, 14, 16) and the presence of spring (38) are such that, when the rotating unit (16) rotates in a first sense of rotation, the translating unit (14) is caused to translate in a direction and such that, when the translating unit (14) translates in an opposite direction, the rotating unit (16) is caused to rotate in an opposite sense of rotation.
Abstract:
Wire trolleys for use with a movable partition system comprise a wire-supporting member through which wire may be inserted. At least one roller configured for insertion into a track along which a movable partition extends is connected to the wire-supporting member. Movable partition systems comprise a track. A movable partition comprising at least two sheets of panels extending at least substantially parallel to one another and distanced from one another to define an interior space between the at least two sheets of panels are suspended from and movable along the track. At least one wire trolley located in the interior space between a proximal end and a distal end of the at least two movable partitions comprises at least one roller in rolling engagement with the track and a wire-supporting member at least partially supporting at least one wire inserted through the wire-supporting member.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the suspension of a door leaf of a sliding door in rail-bound, mass transportation vehicles, such as underground railways, passenger train cars, means of local public transportation, and the like. The suspension mechanism includes carrying rollers in a carrying rail arranged in the upper region of the door leaf or above the door leaf. The invention includes a steel insert having an at least substantially circular track inserted into the carrying rail; the carrying rollers are designed as steel rollers having a concave cross-sectional shape on the running surface, and an adjustment roller is provided, which abuts the adjustment surface of the carrying rail opposite of the steel insert under preload.
Abstract:
Apparatus including shower door roll wheel assemblies and methods of using the same are provided. In one embodiment, a shower door roll wheel assembly includes a shaft, a roll wheel and an outer flange. The roll wheel includes a passageway disposed through the body of the roll wheel. The roll wheel is configured to rotate on the shaft about an axis of the passageway. The roll wheel includes a tread configured to engage a track of a shower door track. The roll wheel may include multiple polymeric materials to facilitate tailored durability and noise reduction, among other properties.
