Abstract: Communications services are provided to a device. For instance, where a communications resource is being used by a device via a first communications service provider (CSP) component associated with a first CSP, based on a probabilistic analysis of loading parameters received from a device at the first CSP component. A likelihood that the device will move can be predicted, comprising determining the likelihood is not less than a threshold likelihood. If likely to move, and based on the loading parameters, a loading profile associated with a user of the device is updated resulting in updated likelihoods of usages of the communication resource by the device via respective other CSP components other than the first CSP component. Further, based on the updated likelihoods of usages of the communication resource, at least part of the communications resource can be allocated to the respective other CSP components to facilitate communications with the device.

Abstract: Quantum satellite-based global networks are provided. A system as provided herein includes a processor and a memory that stores first executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising receiving qubits from a quantum sensor device via a quantum communication channel established between the system and the quantum sensor device; providing quantum input data, derived from the qubits, to a quantum machine learning model; and adjusting a property of a communication network based on an output of the quantum machine learning model, produced in response to the providing of the quantum input data, resulting in an increased performance of a mobile application utilizing resources enabled via the communication network.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, accessing registration information that includes a criterion for allowing receiving notifications based on location information of a communication device, accessing a location request of equipment of a location requestor that includes a notification location, accessing encrypted information representative of identification information, the location information, and time information of the communication device that has been stored in a database where the time information corresponds to the location information, identifying a positive result for the location request, and causing a notification to be provided to the communication device responsive to the positive result, where the notification is associated with the location requestor, and wherein the notification is provided to the communication device without providing the identification information of the communication device to the equipment of the location requestor. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Architectures and techniques are presented that can more efficiently update derived data products in response to updated source data. Source data is typically stored in source tables, whereas a materialized view of a query can generate a derived table based on the state of the source tables at the time the query is executed. When source data changes (e.g., in response to late-arriving input data), rather than recomputing the entire derived table (e.g., by again executing the original query, which can be expensive), an invertible relationship between timestamps can be leveraged to identify only those portions of the derived table that are affected by the update. Therefore, a new defining query can be generated to update only those portions of the derived table that are affected by the source data update.

Abstract: The technologies described herein are generally directed to placing edge hub equipment for virtual radio access networks based on resource availability and performance in advanced networks, such as a fifth generation (5G) network or other next generation networks. For example, a method described herein can include receiving a request to select, for deployment of hub equipment, between site locations, with the deployment of the hub equipment being to connect, in a fronthaul segment, radio unit equipment of the network at a radio location to a backhaul connection equipment. The method can further include, based on the request, the radio location, and the backhaul location, comparing a characteristic of the site locations. Further, the method can include responding to the request with a selected site location that was selected based on a result of the comparing.

Abstract: Dispatch of drones is disclosed. Example drone dispatching methods include transmitting a flight plan for a drone to a flight control platform associated with first operator for piloting the drone. The flight plan is based on a first location associated with a service request. In response to receiving a message from the flight control platform, a first communication session between the flight control platform and a flight control unit of the drone is initiated to permit remote piloting of the drone. A drone observation platform associated with a second operator is selected based on a subject matter qualification associated with the second operator and descriptive information included in the service request. A second communication session between the flight control platform and the drone observation platform is initiated for remote piloting of the drone.

Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed towards delivering electronic messages from senders to recipients in an intelligent way, based on the determined likelihood of each recipient acting on a message. The sender is notified of a delayed message delivery, and can be presented with options as to other actions to take.
