Abstract: An electrical plug connector has an insulated housing, two elastic buckle elements, multiple plug terminals, and a plug metallic shell. The insulated housing has a terminal portion and two connecting portions. The two elastic buckle elements are respectively mounted in receiving grooves of the two connecting portions of the insulated housing. Multiple plug terminals are arranged on the terminal portion of the insulated housing. An electrical receptacle connector is detachably connected with the electrical plug connector. The electrical receptacle connector has a receptacle insulated housing and multiple receptacle terminals. The receptacle insulated housing has an inserting portion and two receptacle connecting portions. The multiple receptacle terminals are mounted in a mounting slot of the receptacle insulated housing. When the electrical plug connector is connected with the electrical receptacle connector, the multiple plug terminals may contact the multiple receptacle terminals and are conducted.

Abstract: A receptacle electrical connector includes a plurality of first terminals, a plurality of second terminals, a main insulator, a secondary insulator, a shielding plate and a shielding shell. The main insulator has a plurality of first terminal grooves and a plurality of second terminal grooves. Each first terminal accommodated in the corresponding first terminal groove is fitted with the corresponding first terminal groove in interference and in face-to-face contact. Each second terminal accommodated in the corresponding second terminal groove is fitted with the corresponding second terminal groove in interference and in face-to-face contact. The shielding plate is located between the first terminals and the second terminals. The shielding shell surrounds the main insulator.

Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes a first terminal module and a second terminal module disposed inside a metallic shell. Abstract: A micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) terminal structure of board-to-board electrical connector and manufacturing method thereof are provided. The terminal of the terminal structure includes a side arm, a bent portion, and a flexible arm integrally formed as one component. The flexible arm includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion and the side arm form an insertion space. The second portion and the side arm form a locking space. The second portion of the flexible arm has a contact portion. The insertion space is greater than the locking space. The terminal has curved and locking features to extend the moment arm of the terminal for improving the terminal flexibility. The terminal contacts a mating terminal through multiple points, thereby improving the contact stability and providing the locking function. Furthermore, by using the MEMS techniques for semiconductor industries, the terminal of micro board-to-board electrical connector can be manufactured.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell and one or more insertion modules. The metallic shell includes two first walls, two second walls, and several protrusions. The walls form an insertion space. The protrusions are extending toward the insertion space from the first walls, and the protrusions are integrally formed on the first walls seamlessly. The insertion module includes an insulated housing, first receptacle terminals, second receptacle terminals, and a grounding plate between the first receptacle terminals and the second receptacle terminals. When the electrical receptacle connector is mated with an electrical plug connector, the protrusions are in contact with a metallic shell of the electrical plug connector. Because the walls of the metallic shell are seamless, the connector assembly of the plug and receptacle can be waterproof. Moreover, the contacts between the protrusions and the electrical plug connector reduce the electromagnetic interferences and the radiofrequency interferences.

The contact regions are formed on the extension arms and in contact with an inner wall of the shell body. Accordingly, the grounding plate is in contact with the metallic shell for providing grounding and reducing the electromagnetic interference.
