Abstract: A medical device may include a handle having a handle lumen extending therethrough. The medical device further may include a first body shaft including a first body shaft lumen in direct communication with the handle lumen and an RF electrode tip may be positioned at a distal end of the first body shaft. The RF electrode tip may include a lumen extending therethrough and in direct communication with the lumen of the first body shaft. Additionally, an energy delivery wire may be electrically coupled with the RF electrode tip.

Abstract: A catheter includes an elongated tubular shaft having a distal end, a proximal end, and a lumen extending therethrough. The elongated tubular shaft includes a polymeric outer layer, a polymeric inner layer, and a braided middle layer. A marker band is positioned adjacent the distal end of the elongated tubular shaft and may surround the middle layer, and a polymeric distal tip is attached to the distal end of the elongated tubular shaft. A distal end of the outer layer terminates proximal to the marker band such that the middle layer includes an exposed region that is exposed from the outer layer between the distal end of the outer layer and a proximal end of the marker band, and the distal tip is formed over the exposed region of the middle layer and the marker band, and extends distally beyond the distal end of the elongated tubular shaft.

Abstract: A fluid delivery device and system configured to regulate delivery of fluid through a fluid delivery port to a target site within a patient, such as to identify, locate, dilate, etc., an opening in a tissue wall at the target site. A side port is defined in the wall of the fluid delivery device adjacent to but upstream of the fluid delivery port. If the fluid delivery port is partially or fully obstructed by contacting tissue, the side port provides a relief valve reducing the pressure of fluid from the fluid delivery port impacting the contacted tissue. The fluid flow path upstream of and adjacent to the side port may be tapered to create a Venturi effect which may cause entrainment of excess fluid at the target site into the fluid delivery device. Such entrained fluid may be recycled out the fluid delivery port.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for delivering and deploying an implantable medical device with respect to a target site along a tissue wall by applying suction to draw the tissue wall to a delivery and deployment device, such as to a tissue-penetrating end of the delivery and deployment device. An additional implantable device may be deployed distal to the tissue wall, such as to facilitate manipulation of the distal wall. At least a portion of the first implantable medical device may be deployed with respect to the additional implantable medical device, such as within a lumen of the additional implantable medical device. The implantable medical device may shift from a delivery configuration to an expanded deployed configuration, and at least a portion of the implantable medical device may expand beyond the deployed configuration after deployment device to further resist migration of the implantable medical device from the target site.

Abstract: A system for accessing a biliary duct includes an access cannula and a needle. The cannula extends along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end and includes a channel extending longitudinally therethrough. A distal portion of the cannula includes a laser cut pattern including slots extending through a wall thereof so that the cannula is movable between a biased non-compressed configuration and a compressed configuration, in which the cannula is compressed along the longitudinal axis. The needle extends longitudinally from a proximal end to a sharp distal end. The needle is housed within the channel so that, when the cannula is in the non-compressed configuration, the sharp distal end is covered via the cannula and, when the cannula is in the compressed configuration, the sharp distal end is exposed to puncture a wall of one of an organ and a target duct.
