Abstract:
The Magnetic Interlocking Portable floor may implement an interlocking tongue-and-groove method for holding panels together. The tongues may have a trapezoidal wedge shape for aligning the panels. The Magnetic Interlocking Portable Floor may implement magnets to assist the connection and alignment of the panels. Further, the magnets may hold the panels together. The use of magnets may prevent the panels from separating at the seams. The panels may include a base, such as hardwood plywood. Further, the panels may include any type of surface for dancing, such as hardwood or laminate.
Abstract:
Processes for manufacturing surface elements are provided. The surface elements can include a decorative upper layer and a supporting core. Processes for manufacturing such surface elements can comprise manufacturing a supporting core having a format essentially equaling the desired end user format and provided with an upper side and a lower side, providing a ground coating on the supporting core, and applying a digitally printed décor comprising inks of at least four colors directly on top of the ground coating by means of an ink-jet type printer, said four colors comprising one or more colors different from cyan, magenta, yellow and black; said digitally printed décor being one of wood or mineral, and providing and curing an at least partly translucent wear layer on the upper side of the supporting core.
Abstract:
A joint structure includes a first floorboard and a second floorboard. The first floorboard and the second floorboard each includes: a top surface; a bottom surface; a first side surface; a second side surface; a third side surface; a fourth side surface; a first beveled tenon, the first beveled tenon including a first tenon face facing upwards; a first beveled mortise, the first beveled mortise including a first mortise face facing upwards; a second beveled tenon, the second beveled tenon including a second tenon face facing downwards; and a second beveled mortise, the second beveled mortise including a second mortise face facing downwards. The top surface is disposed substantially parallel to the bottom surface. The first side surface, the second side surface, the third side surface, and the fourth side surface are disposed substantially perpendicular to the bottom surface.
Abstract:
A floor panel includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate. The top layer is composed of a print and a transparent thermoplastic layer having a thickness of 0.5 mm or less and being situated above said print. The floor panel, at least on two opposite edges, is provided with a straight or curved chamfer extending to below the global level of the print.
Abstract:
Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system comprising tongue and grooves provided with protrusions and cavities which are displaceable in relation to each other and configured such that the protrusions can obtain a vertically unlocked position where they match the cavities and a vertically locked position where the protrusions overlap each other.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a new type of two-ply solid hybrid wood flooring system that utilizes an improved, more dimensional and stable solid wood backing layer or foundation with continuous solid structural edge beams made out of many small pieces of finger jointed solid wood strips and bonded together in such a way which eliminates waste of raw material, uses less adhesive and yields the maximum structural stability. The present invention combines the dimensional stability characteristics of a traditional perpendicular-grain engineered flooring product with the benefit of the thickness of the traditional solid wood flooring.
Abstract:
A floorboard includes a floorboard main body and a plastic edge frame. The plastic edge frame is configured to wrap the periphery of the floorboard main body. The back of the plastic edge frame is provided with a guide rail. The guide rail is provided with plastic slide blocks. The plastic slide blocks are matched with the guide rail of the plastic edge frame of another corresponding adjacent floorboard. A length defined between two adjacent plastic slide blocks on the same guide rail is greater than the length of each plastic slide block. The floorboard main body includes a wear-resisting layer, a decoration layer, a particleboard layer, and a balanced layer which are arranged from up to bottom. A top surface of the plastic edge frame is hidden under the decoration layer.
Abstract:
A floor covering is composed of a plurality of hard floor panels wherein the floor panels show a common general decor and may differ from each other in respect to their appearance and/or on their own have zones of a differing appearance. The floor panels, at least at two opposite sides or edges thereof, are provided with coupling parts allowing that two of such floor panels can cooperate with each other at these sides. At least some of the floor panels possess at least one chamfer, such as a beveled edge or the like, wherein the surfaces of these chamfers are provided, at least partially, with a separately applied decorative covering including at least a decorative layer. The appearance of the decorative covering is realized in a manner varying in function of differences occurring in the decor of the floor covering.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a joining system comprising a locking device (1) and a first element (2) and a second element (3) to be joined by the locking device (1). The locking device (1) comprises a first end section (4), a centre section (5), and a second end section (6). The first and second end sections (4, 6) extend in opposite directions from the centre section (5), and at least one surface (7) of each of the first and second end sections (4, 6) are provided with at least one barb (8). The barb (8) is angled in a direction towards the centre section (5). The first and second elements (2, 3) are each provided with a groove (9). The locking device (1) is completely enclosed by the grooves (9) when the first and second elements (2, 3) are joined by the locking device (1).
