Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing a polyvinyl chloride-free top layer (1) for a decking element (3), the method comprising the method steps indicated below:
A) Providing a base layer (4) comprising and/or consisting of plastic;
B) Printing a décor (6) on a top (5) of the base layer (4) facing a usable side (7);
C) Bonding, preferably laminating, a, preferably transparent, wearing surface (8) to the printed base layer (4) to form a, preferably solid, layer composite (9);
D) Embossing the layer composite (9) at least in some areas, preferably over the entire surface, with a structure (10) at least substantially synchronous with the décor (6), the structure (10) being embossed in such a way that it is visible both on the top (11) facing the usable side (7) and at least in some areas on the bottom (12) of the layer composite (9) facing away from the usable side (7);
E) Application of a surface sealing layer (17), preferably a lacquer layer, to the top (11) of the layer composite (9) facing the usable side (7);
F) optionally: curing of the surface sealing layer (17), preferably the lacquer layer.-

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of B29D7/01, and more particularly to a composite pre-coating film and a preparation method thereof, and a composite floor. The preparation method includes the following steps: laminating a polymeric printing film, a polymeric transparent film, and a radiation-cured coating A in sequence. In the present disclosure, the composite pre-coating film has multiple functions through a composite structure design. The radiation-cured coating A provides a desirable abrasion and scratch resistance and gloss; the polymeric transparent film provides an abrasion resistance and flexibility; and the polymeric printing film provides a color pattern effect. After being embossed by an embossing roller, the composite pre-coating film has a three-dimensional simulated pattern effect, as well as excellent wear resistance, scratch resistance, and stain resistance, and can be used to prepare a composite floor with various wood-plastic structures.

Abstract: A structural sheathing product used in construction that is adapted to wrap around a corner or otherwise bend for specific installations. In the preferred embodiment, a pre-scored sheathing board creates a hinge-like portion enabling an efficient and clean bend of the sheathing around a corner without fracturing or damaging the exterior surface of the sheathing, in particular, without damaging any exterior water barrier of such sheathing. The pre-scored sheet of sheathing board may have multiple locations of scoring lines. The scoring may be along the vertical length or horizontal length of the sheet of sheathing or both. A method of manufacture of the pre-scored sheathing board is also disclosed herein.

Abstract: A process for producing a multilayer laminated composite film structure including the steps of: (a) applying a solventless polyurethane adhesive composition to at least a first film substrate; wherein the adhesive composition is applied on at least a portion of at least one side surface of the first film substrate to dispose the adhesive composition on at least a portion of the at least one side surface of the first film substrate; (b) contacting the first film substrate of step (a) with at least a second film substrate; wherein the at least one side surface of the first film substrate containing the adhesive composition is in communication with at least one side surface of the second film substrate such that the polyurethane adhesive composition is disposed in between the first and second film substrates; and (c) curing the adhesive composition to bond the first and second substrates together to form a multilayer laminated composite film structure; and a multilayer laminated composite film structure article produced by the above process.

Abstract: A carrier material has a resin layer arranged on a side of the carrier material. Abstract: Sound absorbing or attenuating laminate flooring materials are provided, which are directed to be used in the production of floor covering, floor panels, furniture panels, cabinets, counter-tops and wall panels. As well, the method for producing such products are provided. In particular, abrasion resistant panels, with a laminated structure, created by forming an assembly which consists of laminating a heat-activated resin impregnated paper wear layer, a decorative layer with printed graphics or a wood veneer decorative layer, a medium density (MDF) or high-density (HDF) natural fiber-based core and a resin impregnated paper balancing layer. To achieve sound absorbing and/or attenuating properties, any or all paper layers may be pre coated with an additional flexible elastomeric coating, film or material prior to assembly of the panel, or the natural fiber core panel may be coated with a flexible elastomeric coating, film or material prior to assembly with the papers.

Abstract: A wax-extender emulsion including a plurality of wax-extender complex particles suspended in water is described. A wax-extender complex includes a wax component, an organic extender component and a surfactant that stabilizes the wax component and the organic extender component collectively to form the wax-extender complex. The wax-extender emulsion comprises from 2 wt % to 30 wt % organic extender. During manufacturing, the organic extender and wax component are emulsified and homogenized together to produce the wax-extender emulsion. The wax-extender emulsion can be co-applied as a mixture with adhesive resin during wood-based composite manufacturing.
