    Abstract: The present invention provides a kind of rotor and a motor with the rotor. The rotor comprises a shaft, a magnetic yoke of rotor, several primary permanent magnet groups and several secondary permanent magnet groups. The said several primary permanent magnet groups and the said several secondary permanent magnet groups are alternatively distributed along the circumference of the said magnetic yoke of rotor at the same interval. The projection of the said primary permanent magnet group and that of the said secondary permanent magnet group on a plane vertical to the said shaft are adjacent, and their edges overlap. The present invention can reduce torque pulsation caused by the electromagnetic factors, and increase the external work of torque. Therefore, it has good effects on improving power efficiency of the motor and saving energy.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for constructing electric motors in which rotor sections are individually keyed to a rotor shaft such that, in a resting position, the rotor sections are circumferentially shifted (“clocked”) with respect to each to mitigate effects of harmonic feedback, torsional flexibility and the like. In one embodiment, a system includes an electric drive, and an ESP coupled to it by a power cable. The ESP motor has a rotor in which multiple permanent-magnet rotor sections are mounted to a shaft. Within each rotor section, permanent magnets are positioned in two or more axially aligned rows. Adjacent rotor sections are clocked with respect to each other so that, in operation, the rows of permanent magnets in the different rotor sections are positioned to counter the harmonic feedback or to use torsional deflection to equalize torque contributions from the different rotor sections.

    Abstract: A permanent magnet type rotating electrical machine includes a stator, a rotor core having first and second magnet inserting holes, and permanent magnets. A partition wall is defined between a first end of each of the first magnet inserting holes and a second end of the associated one of the second magnet inserting holes. In a section radially outward of the first and second ends, a bulging portion is arranged between a surface extending along the permanent magnet in the magnet inserting hole and a surface of the partition wall. The bulging portion has a first curved surface continuous with the surface of the partition wall and a second curved surface continuous with the surface extending along the permanent magnet in the first magnet inserting hole or the second magnet inserting hole. The curvature of the first curved surface is smaller than the curvature of the second curved surface.
