Abstract:
A computer keyboard power saving method includes sensing if there is keystroke action taking place. When time period of no keystroke action exceeds a pre-set threshold, power supply to the keyboard will be shut down automatically. When a keystroke action is detected, power supply to the keyboard will be resumed instantly. Thus can save energy when keyboard is idle from time to time.
Abstract:
An encoding control device includes a voltage provider providing different voltage levels at different instances, a data control device electrically connected to the voltage provider and outputting data respectively corresponding to the voltage levels, and an encoding device electrically connected to the data control device for encoding according to the data. The present encoding control device effectively reduces the pin number of an IC package.

An electrical connection system for an optoelectronic socket comprises an optoelectronic socket (1), an OE package (2) assembled to the optoelectronic socket (1), and a circuit board (4). The optoelectronic socket (1) comprises a plurality of passageways (104) embedded with an optical member (12) respectively, and a number of electrical contacts. The OE package (2) comprises a plurality of lenses (20) located at bottom portion thereof and a plurality of electrical pads (22) located at peripheral of the bottom portion. Bottom end of the lens (20) of the OE package (2) are received in the passageway (104) and the electrical pads (22) contact with the electrical contacts (14). The optical member (12) is received in recess on upper face of the circuit board (4) and connects with a waveguide (40) positioned in the recess. The electrical contact is soldered to the circuit board.
Abstract:
An electrical connector includes an insulative housing defining a tongue plate, a first set of contacts disposed upon the tongue plate, a second set of contacts disposed upon the tongue plate, and an inner PCB retained in the housing. The inner PCB defines at least one input connecting portion, at least one output connecting portion electrically connected with the at least one input connecting portion, and a first soldering leg connecting with the at least one output connecting portion. At least one of the first set of contacts connect with the first soldering leg, and at least one of the second set of contacts connect with the at least one input connecting portion to share the first soldering leg for mounting onto the mother PCB.
Abstract:

The optic member (3) comprises a waveguide (31) and a lens (32) at the end of the waveguide (31), the IC package (5) comprises a plurality of lenses (510) located at the bottom portion (51) thereof and a plurality of electrical conducts (512) located at peripheral thereof, the lens (510) are received in the passageway (4110) and the electrical conducts (512) connect with the electrical contacts (2).
Abstract:
An array of series-connected solar cells is formed on a support layer with at least a two cells being adjacent and a third solar cell being either adjacent or separated from the second solar cell. A portion of the photovoltaic junction layer is separated from the first solar cell. The semiconducting material of the first type of the separated portion is electrically connected with the semiconducting material of the second type of the second solar cell through physical contact between the front electrode of the first cell and the back electrode of the second cell. The material of the second type of the separated portion of the junction layer is connected with the semiconducting material of the first type of the third cell to define a bypass diode that is in parallel and in opposition to the second and the third solar cells.
Abstract:
A method for producing a thin-film solar cell with a cell level integrated bypass diode includes forming at least three series-connected solar cells, each cell being a laminated structure including semiconducting material of first and second types, a front electrode in contact with the material of the first type, and a back electrode in contact with the material of the second type. The bypass diode is formed by total separation from a selected parent cell. The material of the first type of the diode is connected to the material of the second type of any one chosen solar cell in the array. The material of the second type of the diode is connected with the material of the first type of the one chosen solar cell in the array so that the diode is connected in parallel and in opposition to the one chosen solar cell.
Abstract:
A socket assembly comprises an insulating housing receiving a plurality of contacts, a pick up cap assembled on the insulating housing and a loading plate covering the insulating housing and the pick up cap. The pick up cap is pivotally assembled to one of the sidewalls of the insulative housing at an end thereof and has an operating portion at an opposite end thereof. The loading plate is provided with a latching piece to latch with the operating portion of the pick up cap, so that the loading plate can bring the pick up cap to open.
Abstract:
A web page generator dynamically and implicitly generates localized web content. A web developer can mark the content of a page (including controls and literal content) with resource keys, and can dynamically process this request by dynamically substituting the marked content with localized content. Multiple properties of the controls within a page may be localized.
