Abstract:
A structure of light emitting diode (LED) wafer-level chip scale packaging (WL-CSP) is disclosed. The process of making the same is also provided in this invention. The LED CSP utilizes the through hole metal filling to enhance heat conduction between the LED die and its carrier substrate. The CSP structure is achieved by bonding pre-processed through-hole-filling carrier substrate against the flip-chip LED wafer.

Abstract:
Pharmaceutical compositions for treating immunological disorders and the preparing method of the same are disclosed, which include alcohol extracts of Radix Dioscorea, Rhizoma Alismatis, Poria cocos (schw) Wolf, and Scutellaria Baicalensis. The compositions are manufactured by novel procedures consisting of decocting using specific concentration ranges of alcohol, filtering, regulating pH value, purifying, concentrating, proportionally mixing, and making a granule powder from lyophilized extract. This invention used both in vitro and in vivo assays to evaluate therapeutic effects of specific combination of herbal plant extracts. The combination of herbal extracts has been able to maximize the anti-inflammatory activity and regulate the secretion of cytokines such as eotaxin and IL-4. When the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention is used for asthma, it can relieve coughs, resist airway allergic inflammation reactions, improve the pulmonary functions, reduce allergen specific IgE in bloods, stabilize elasmatoblasts, and stop the attacks from asthma.
Abstract:

Also disclosed are several processes for preparing an acid beverage composition.
Abstract:
A wafer level chip scale packaging structure and the method of fabricating the same are disclosed to form a sacrificial layer below the bump using a normal semiconductor process. The bump is used to connect the signals between the Si wafer and the PCB. The interface between the sacrificial layer and the PCB is the weakest part in the whole structure. When the stress applied to the bump is overloaded, the interface between the sacrificial layer and the PCB will crash to remove the stress generated by different thermal expansion coefficients of the Si wafer and the PCB. The sacrificial layer would help avoid the crash occurring to the bump to protect the electrical conduction between the Si wafer and the PCB.
Abstract:
An intelligent supervision system on the ion beam map during ion implantation process includes an ion implanter for introducing ions into a wafer, a feature extractor for receiving a beam current signal and a display blanking signal from the ion implanter to extract features of the beam current signal; a fuzzification subsystem for justifying confidence level on the features; and an expert system for recognizing symptoms of abnormal scanning and providing an indication thereof to a human operator. The expert system also provides an indication of appropriate corrective action, which an operator then uses to adjust the implantation process. Alternatively, the expert system may be configured to provide control signals directly to the ion implanter to adjust the implantation process without the need for an operator.
Abstract:
A low cost method of binding lignocellulosic materials utilizing ammonium based spent sulfite liquor alone as the binder. Hot pressing a mat comprising lignocellulosic material and ammonium spent sulfite liquor at a temperature above 170.degree. C. decomposes the spent sulfite liquor. The decomposition products subsequently condense and polymerize in the presence of lignocellulosic materials to produce a composite product. An exterior grade board can be produced under certain operating conditions. Utilizing the lower molecular weight fraction of the liquor provides a more efficient binder.
Abstract:
A rotary engine with axially directly connected compression and power cylinders is disclosed, which includes a compression cylinder, a power cylinder, an intermediate cylinder wall located between the compression and the power cylinder to serve as a common inner-end wall of the two cylinders, and a combustion chamber unit fixed to a circumferential surface of the intermediate cylinder wall, so that the rotary engine has axially directly connected compression and power cylinders. A compression-side and a power-side rotational valve are separately fitted in two recessed end surfaces of the intermediate cylinder wall. The compression-side and the power-side rotational valve are provided with three L-shaped first and second openings, respectively. Compressed air-fuel mixture in the compression cylinder flows through the L-shaped first openings into the combustion chamber, and high temperature high pressure gas generated after explosion in the combustion chamber unit flows through the L-shaped second openings into the power cylinder.
Abstract:
A battery module and an overcharge protecting method are provided. The overcharge protecting method includes following steps: detecting a battery voltage of a rechargeable battery during a charging process; determining whether the battery voltage is larger than or equals to an upper limit voltage; if no, continuously charging the rechargeable battery until the battery voltage reaches a charging cut-off voltage and then the charging process is ended; if yes, stopping the charging process, reducing the value of the charging cut-off voltage and using the reduced charging cut-off voltage as the charging cut-off voltage in the next charging process. In the subsequent charging process, once the overcharge occurs, the value of the charging cut-off voltage is continuously reduced until the overcharge of the rechargeable battery does not occur during the charging process.
