In operation, the first driver receives a first signal from a first input port, the second driver receives a time-delayed version of the first signal from a second input port, and the transformer provides provide an output signal to an output port. A method includes receiving a first input signal, receiving a second input signal, and then processing the first input signal and the second input signal. The second input signal is a time-delayed version of the first input signal and the processing of the first input signal and the second input signal generates a half-raised cosine signal.

    摘要: A resonance suppression circuit is provided to suppress resonance on a power grid of a chip or die. The resonance suppression circuit may include a band-pass filter portion, a comparator portion, an amplification portion and a current dissipation portion. The band-pass filter portion may include an inverter coupled between two signal lines of the power grid. The comparator portion may sense voltage fluctuations at approximately the resonance frequency and trigger the current dissipation portion to turn ON and thereby change the frequency spectrum of the load current on the power grid to suppress the power grid resonance.

    摘要: Described is an apparatus which comprises: a low-side switch coupled to an output node for providing regulated voltage supply; and a first driver operable to cause the low-side switch to turn off when the output node rises above a first transistor threshold voltage. Described is also a voltage regulator which comprises: a signal generator to generate a pulse-width modulated (PWM) signal; a bridge having a low-side switch coupled to an output node for providing regulated voltage supply according to the PWM signal; a first driver operable to cause the low-side switch to turn off when the output node rises above a first transistor threshold voltage; and a bridge controller to provide control signals to the first driver. The voltage regulator may operate without diode clamps and its operation is self-timed. The voltage regulator also provides tolerance against process variation.
