Abstract: Disclosed is a method for isolating stem cells. The method uses a specially designed apparatus including: a container containing an aspirate; a piston having an outer diameter corresponding to the inner diameter of the container and having at least one through-hole; and a connection tube adapted to feed an enzyme or a washing solution into the container through the through-hole, having a tip connected to the through-hole, and connected to an external tube or another container containing the enzyme or washing solution at the other end thereof. The method includes pulling the piston backward to form a negative pressure in the container containing the aspirate and to allow the enzyme or washing solution to enter the container containing the aspirate through the connection tube and the through-hole of the piston.

Abstract: A connecting structure of a lead wire is electrically connected to an electrode in which a polarized electrode layer is formed on a surface of a current collector plate. A region of the electrode, to which the lead wire is to be joined, is free from the polarized electrode layer. The lead wire is joined to the current collector plate by means of stitching and then compressed thereto. This connecting structure may keep a capacitance of a capacitor and improve contact reliability. An electric double layer capacitor having the structure and a method for manufacturing the capacitor are also provided.

Abstract: A centrifuge includes a rotator comprising a receiving unit receiving materials and guiding the materials to move upward by centrifugal force to an upper portion of the receiving unit, and a rotator cover covering the upper portion of the receiving unit. The centrifuge also includes a container that is coupled to the rotator cover to be connected to the receiving unit and that receives the materials moved upward along the receiving unit. The centrifuge and a centrifuging method as disclosed herein are used for separating a fluid to which a large centrifugal force is applied and a fluid to which a smaller centrifugal force is applied by adjusting the rotation speed using the principle that centrifugal force during rotation varies according to specific components of a fluid. Thus, using the centrifuge and the centrifugal method, materials can be centrifuged and layers of the materials can be classified and collected accurately and easily.

Abstract: A driving apparatus for an organic electro-luminescence display device for reducing a deterioration of organic light-emitting diode device in the organic electro-luminescence display device is disclosed. In the driving apparatus, a data supplier supplies a data signal to an anode of an organic light-emitting diode device. A first voltage source generates a first voltage. A second voltage source generates a second voltage higher than said first voltage. A voltage stabilizer stabilizes said second voltage to be supplied to the cathode of the organic light-emitting diode device. First and second switching devices selectively apply said first and second voltages to a cathode of the organic light-emitting diode device.

Abstract: A content transmission method and apparatus using video call is provided. The content transmission method includes performing an encoding operation on reproduced content; and transmitting the encoded content to at least one of video call apparatuses connected to a network, wherein the content is distinguished from video and the voice data. The content is reproduced by the content transmission apparatus or an external content providing server. Therefore, the content transmission apparatus can share content with another type of apparatus that supports VoIP, such as a digital signage.
