A telescopic adjusting mechanism includes: an outer tube having a positioning unit; an inner tube having a hole and displaceable relative to the outer tube along a longitudinal axis; a locking unit displaceable along with the inner tube, and including a locking member movable along a transverse axis between a locking position, where the locking member extends through the hole to engage the positioning unit, and an unlocking position, where the locking member is disengaged from the positioning unit, and a biasing member biasing the locking member to the locking position, the locking unit being formed with an engaging member; a restraining member engaging releasably the engaging member when the locking member is at the unlocking position to prevent the locking unit from hindering retraction of the inner tube into the outer tube; and a drive unit operable to move the locking member from the locking position to the unlocking position.

The present invention discloses a user information notifying method, system and apparatus. In the present invention, a MME obtains RAT/Frequency Selection Priority information of UE, and notifies an eNodeB of the information. According to the method, system and apparatus of the present invention, the eNodeB can obtain the RAT/Frequency Selection Priority information of the UE, and further perform Radio Resource Management according to the information, thereby improving system performance.

The invention provides a laser microarray scanner for microarray scanning, comprising an optical system, a scanning platform, and a data processing system. During scanning, the optical system remains fixed, and the microarray placed on the scanning platform moves relative to the optical system. The microarray scanner disclosed herein has high scanning speed, high sensitivity, high resolution, and high signal-to-noise ratio, thus is ideal for use in microarray scanning

In order to minimize traffic on a Zigbee network, a gateway of the Zigbee network represents end devices in communications with peripheral networks. The gateway receives messages, such as status request messages, from the peripheral network intended for an end device on the Zigbee network. The Zigbee network generates a response message by retrieving stored data for the end device instead of communicating the received message to the end device.

Configurable communications modules and methods of making the same are described. In one aspect, a communications module includes a data channel and a termination impedance controller. The data channel is operable to translate data signals in at least one direction between a transmission cable interface and a host device interface. The data channel has a variably configurable termination impedance at a host device node that is connectable to a host device. The termination impedance controller is operable to set the variably configurable termination impedance of the data channel to match the termination impedance to the host system.

According to the method of the present invention the cellulosic material is treated with an enzyme composition capable of removing cross links from the cellulosic material, especially cross links on the material surface.

A novel cover plate assembly comprising of two decorative face plates and a base plate for mounting electrical devices. The two face plates fabricated from steel plate are screwless and provide noble decorative appearances after the surfaces properly treated. The inner face plate is snapped into the base plate through a snap fit connection. The outer face plate is attached to inner face plate through a snap fit connection. The base plate can be molded of any flame retardant materials.
