    Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to provide a power transmitting apparatus which can sufficiently damp the torque variation and also can further improve the fuel consumption. For achieving the object of the present disclosure above, there is provided a power transmitting apparatus of a vehicle comprising a damper mechanism including dampers having spring properties for damping torque variations of an engine and being able to arbitrarily and selectively transmit or cut off a driving power of an engine to wheels characterized in that the power transmitting apparatus further comprises a spring property switching device for arbitrarily switching spring properties of the damper mechanism; and a spring property controller for actuating the spring property switching device to switch the spring properties according to the running state of the vehicle.

    Abstract: Provided is a joint component manufacturing method for reducing occurrence of burrs upon bonding between a first member having a hole and a second member having a shaft portion and firmly bonding both members. In the method for manufacturing a joint component 100, a hole-side weak press-fit portion 112 is formed at a hole 111 of a flat plate ring-shaped first member 110. Moreover, each of a shaft-side weak press-fit portion 122 and a shaft-side strong press-fit portion 124 is formed at a shaft portion 121 of a cylindrical second member 120. The hole-side weak press-fit portion 112 and the shaft-side weak press-fit portion 122 are defined by a first weak press-fit interference Lw1 formed thinner than a first strong press-fit interference Ls1. The shaft-side strong press-fit portion 124 is defined by a first strong press-fit interference Ls1 as the minimum necessary press-fit interference for electric resistance welding upon electric resistance welding between the hole 111 and the shaft portion 121.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a centrifugal clutch (100). The centrifugal clutch (100) includes a drive plate (110) that is rotationally driven directly by the driving force of the engine. The drive plate (110) includes a swing support pin (113) that supports a clutch shoe (123) in a swinging state with respect to a clutch outer part (130), and a spring support (115) that supports a torsion spring (116). The spring support (115) is provided in a standing state on a base (111) adjacent to one distal end (121a) of both end parts of a clutch weight (120) in the circumferential direction that faces a tubular surface (131) of the clutch outer part (130). Both end parts (116b) and (116c) of the torsion spring (116) are respectively hooked on the distal end (121a) of one clutch weight (120) and a proximal end (121b) of the other clutch weight (120) of the two clutch weights (120).

    Abstract: A power transmitting apparatus has a clutch member and a pressure member. The cam surfaces of the pressure-contact assist cam face each other. The cam surfaces of the back torque limiter cam face each other. A receiving portion for a clutch spring (10) on the pressure member (5) side has a receiving member (11) separate from the pressure member (5). A first cam surface (C1) and a second cam surface (C2), constituting the back torque limiter cam, are, respectively, formed on the receiving member (11) and the clutch member (4).     Abstract: A clutch drive unit 220 includes a crank arm 221 configured to rotate by rotary driving of a clutch actuator 231. The crank arm 221 includes an output pin 222 configured to press a master cylinder 232, and a receiving pin 223 configured to receive pressing force P from an extendable body 228. The extendable body 228 includes a lock spring 228a with such strength that the pressing force P is generated. The pressing force P allows pressing moment PM greater than reactive force moment RM based on reactive force R acting on the crank arm 221 from a clutch 210 to act on the crank arm 221. The extendable body 228 is, by the stretching force of the lock spring 228a, provided in a stretched state between the receiving pin 223 and a holder receiving pin 229.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, a torque damper apparatus can achieve reduced stiffness as well as sufficient vibration absorbing property while increasing the dampening ratio of the torque variation. In some embodiments, a torque damper apparatus comprises an input member to which an engine torque is inputted; damper springs able to absorb variation of torque inputted from the input member; and/or a driving power of the engine configured to be transmitted to an output shaft of a vehicle via the input member and the damper springs. The damper springs can comprise a plurality of coil springs arranged along the circumference of the input member. The torque damper apparatus can further comprise a plurality of separate members interposed between the damper springs and configured to be independently rotated with respect to each other when the engine torque is transmitted thereto.

    Abstract: A torque converter includes a lock-up device that directly connects a torque converter cover that rotates together with a pump impeller to a turbine runner connected to an output axis. The lock-up device includes a damper spring in a clutch piston that contacts with or moves away from the torque converter cover. In addition, an intermediate member is provided inside the damper spring. A center part of the damper spring is projected toward the inner side of the clutch piston in the radial direction by damper pressing portions and fixed to both ends of the damper spring and a connecting member and pushed onto the projecting part of the intermediate member.
