A swing arm assembly (10) for use in converting a motorcycle into a tricycle is described which includes a rear axle assembly (12) and a swing arm (14) having a first end (16) and a second end (18). The first end (16) is adapted for pivotal attachment to a motorcycle chassis. The swing arm (14) is detachably secured to the rear axle assembly (12). A pair of axle engaging members (22) are secured in spaced relation to the rear axle assembly (12). A pair of telescopically extendable/retractable members (24) are provided having a first end (26) and a second end (28). The first end (26) of each telescopic member (24) is telescopically received in one of the axle engaging members (22). The second end (28) of each telescopic member (24) is attached to the second end (18) of the swing arm (14) after a continuous belt for a belt drive is slid loosely into position. The telescopic members (24) are telescopically extendable once the continuous belt is in position to place the belt in proper operating tension.
Abstract:
A Job Monitor for providing printer recognition and management of a print job entity is described. The Job Monitor includes a repository of attributes and status associated with each print job that passes through the system. Interfaces to the Job Monitor provide the ability for components to process a job according to the unique requirements of the processing component, and report job attributes and processing status of the job to the Job Monitor for common access by other components. Each component has access to common variables and can present job attributes or status to its respective external interface according to the unique requirements dictated by the external interface. Additionally, internal job processing components interface with the Job Monitor to access and report current processing status. The common status repository provided by the Job Monitor is used by the Job Monitor and other components to control the sequence of processing within the printer.

A display system for an electronic device includes a first sub-display and a second sub-display in signal communication with the first sub-display. The sub-displays together may display related information within a given category, such as time, weather, messages, etc. The display system also may include a navigation mechanism that permits the user to navigate through and select data items from at least one of the first or second sub-displays. In response to a data selection, at least one of the sub-displays alters its view such that the sub-displays together may display a new dataset of related information within the given category. The navigation mechanism also may be used to toggle through various additional categories of information. In an exemplary embodiment, the display system may be the external display of a clamshell mobile telephone in the closed position.

In one example, a filter box for a sweeping machine is provided with an impeller fan housing beneath a cylindrical filter. Operation of the impeller fan draws air from a debris hopper, through the cylindrical filter, and through an expansion chamber defined by a scroll conduit prior to outlet to atmosphere.

A device is disclosed which includes a base and a pair of substantially vertical members supported by the base. A horizontal member extends substantially horizontally between the vertical members. A first mechanism selectively adjusts the vertical position of the horizontal member, while a second mechanism selectively adjusts the horizontal position of the vertical members to define a first projectile target area. A target loop is mounted to the horizontal member within the first projectile target area and defines a second projectile target area. A third mechanism is provided for selectively adjusting the position of the target loop along the horizontal member between the vertical members. Finally, an arm extension attaches the target loop to the horizontal member and includes a fourth mechanism for variably adjusting the distance between the target loop and the horizontal member within the first projectile target area.

A page generation system that efficiently generates a page segment by clearing memory immediately after data representing the page segment is read from memory. The system generates a page in memory by writing the data representing the image content of the page to a memory block. The memory block is initially clear (all logical 0's) to enable the system to efficiently generate the page segment by writing the positive content of the page segment without having to write the blank sections of the page segment. By clearing memory immediately after data is read from memory, the page generator does not need to zero clear a memory block prior to constructing a page segment therein.

A data buffering/transformation system and method that compresses a received signal and stores the compressed received data signal in a data storage unit to conserve storage usage. The system decompresses the data signal prior to transmitting the signal. The received data signal may be an encoded data signal. In such a case, the system further decompresses the received data signal, decodes the signal, recompresses the signal, and stores the signal in the data storage unit. The system and method employs a combination compressor and first decompressor and a second decompressor so the system and method can simultaneously decompress a compressed received data signal and decompress a compressed decoded received data signal.

An arrangement for monitoring clock frequency variations on a peripheral bus is provided to improve operations of the peripheral device despite changes in the clock frequency. In one aspect of the arrangement, a processing unit is coupled to a host bus which in turn is coupled to a peripheral bus which is coupled to a peripheral device. A monitoring arrangement is provided which detects a change in the clock frequency of the peripheral bus and determines if the frequency change exceeds a threshold associated with the peripheral device. If the threshold is exceeded, the peripheral device is informed that the clock frequency of the peripheral bus has changed. A peripheral device operating a different operating levels may use the information from the monitoring arrangement to alter the operating level of the peripheral device to conform to the new bus clock frequency.
