Abstract:
A dummy trim includes a mounting plate to be fixed to a door, a sleeve holder securely mounted to the mounting plate and including a peripheral wall, a sleeve including a first end mounted in the peripheral wall of the sleeve holder, and a lever securely attached to a second end of the sleeve to move therewith. The first end of the sleeve includes a slot having an edge facing the lever. The peripheral wall of the sleeve holder includes an integral stop extending into the slot of the sleeve and abutting against the edge of the slot.
Abstract:
A door lockset comprises a transmission assembly comprising a chassis with two through-holes, an outside handle assembly, and an inside handle assembly. The outside handle assembly comprises an outside handle, an outside rose, and an outside rose liner. The outside rose liner has at least two pairs of diametrically disposed positioning holes selectively aligned with the through-holes of the chassis. The outside rose liner further includes two engaging posts each having a screw hole. The inside handle assembly comprises an inside handle, an inside rose, and an inside rose liner. The inside rose liner includes two holes aligned with the screw holes of the engaging posts.
Abstract:
A lock includes an inner handle having a locking bar received therein and an outer handle connected to a spindle with a retaining base received therein which has two first grooves defined therein. A cam is connected to the retaining base and has two second grooves which communicate with the first grooves so that a locking piece is movably received between the retaining base and the cam with a spring biased between the locking piece and the retaining base. The locking piece has two flanges movably received in the first grooves and the second grooves. A slide is movably received in the cam and contact the locking piece at one end thereof and the locking bar at the other end thereof so that the two flanges of the locking piece are disengaged from the second grooves when the locking bar is pushed. Therefore, the outer handle can be freely rotated.
Abstract:
A positioning device for a cylindrical lock includes two first upper protrusions and two first lower protrusions respectively extending from an inside hub of the lock, two second upper protrusions and two second lower protrusions respectively extending from an outside hub. A chassis receiving a retractor therein has two first plates extending from a top surface thereof and two second plates extending from a bottom surface thereof. The two first plates of the chassis are received between the two first upper protrusions and two second upper protrusions, and the two second plates are received between the two first lower protrusions and two second lower protrusions such that the chassis is stationed between the inside and outside hub so as to let a pair of screws extend through these easily.
Abstract:
A fastening device used with a lock for firmly securing the lock in position against undesired rotational movement with respect to a door where the lock is mounted. The fastening device comprises a pair of mounting screws for firmly securing an inside and an outside escutcheon to the door and a pair of fastening screws extending through a main lock assembly to firmly support it with respect to the outside escutcheon of the already firmly secured inside and outside escutcheons assembly.
Abstract:
A Multi-Chip Module is presented herein that comprises a package substrate, at least two integrated circuit devices, each of which is electrically coupled to the package substrate, and an interposer. Formed in the interposer are electrical connections which are predominantly horizontal interconnects. The first interposer is arranged to electrically couple the two integrated circuit devices to each other. Methods for manufacturing a Multi-Chip Module are also presented herein.
Abstract:
A system and method for selecting audio contents by using the speech recognition to obtain a textual phrase from a series of audio contents are provided. The system includes an output module outputting the audio contents, an input module receiving a speech input from a user, a buffer temporarily storing the audio contents within a desired period and the speech input, and a recognizing module performing a speech recognition between the audio contents within the desired period and the speech input to generate an audio phrase and the corresponding textual phrase matching with the speech input.
Abstract:
A defect inspecting method is provided. The defect inspecting method for inspecting a defect information of a target device includes steps of retrieving one of a whole image and a part of image of the target device; setting a plurality of conditions for a defect recognizing scheme; adjusting the plurality of conditions by a manual scheme; adjusting the plurality of conditions based on the retrieved image; and implementing the defect recognizing scheme based on the adjusted plurality of conditions for inspecting the target device, so as to obtain the defect information of the target device is provided.
Abstract:
A lock includes a body, a wheel, an outside spindle, and a locking plug. The outside spindle includes a front end having an extension not in contact with a circumferential wall defining a through-hole of the wheel. When the locking plug is in an unblocking position allowing retraction operation of a latch bolt, the front end of the outside spindle is engaged with the wheel to allow joint rotation of the outside spindle and the wheel. When the locking plug is moved from the unblocking position to the blocking position not allowing retraction operation of the latch bolt, movement of a push member pushes the front end of the outside spindle away from the through-hole of the wheel such that the front end of the outside spindle is disengaged from the circumferential wall of the through-hole of the wheel, thereby disengaging the outside spindle from the wheel.
