In another alternative embodiment, the effluent is collected in a hollow area in order to prevent the effluent form contaminating a component, device or apparatus used in connection with the medical or diagnostic procedure.

The apparatus also has a cutting assembly for cutting barbs in the filament tensioned between the in-feed and out-feed collets.

摘要： A syringe device and injector system including a vent for relieving a vacuum within a syringe is provided. Embodiments provide a syringe device including a reservoir having a sidewall. The reservoir includes a dispensing distal end a proximal end. The syringe device also includes a piston in movable sealing engagement with the sidewall. Furthermore, the sidewall defines a vent extending from the proximal end of the reservoir. The vent is configured to interrupt the sealing engagement between the piston and the sidewall so as to allow a gas to enter the reservoir through the proximal aperture and past the piston member as the piston member is moved from the distal end to the proximal end of the tubular aperture.

摘要： A metered dose inhaler pump for delivering a metered dose of an active compound from an active compound inlet through a spray outlet without the need of a pressurized active compound container. Reciprocating action of an inlet valve, an outlet valve and a plunger alternately draw a metered dose of the active compound from an active compound container into an active compound chamber and pressurize the drawn metered dose of the active compound to eject the metered dose through the spray outlet. The plunger substantially fills and evacuates the metered dose chamber, leaving no void head space therein.
