Abstract:
A method and apparatus for generating an elemental image by an integral image technique are provided. The method includes normalizing coordinates of dots in a frustum formed in perspective projection by mapping the dots in the frustum into a cube; reversing a grade of depth of the cube viewed from a particular viewpoint; and generating a two-dimensional (2D) elemental image necessary for three-dimensional (3D) display from dots in the cube whose grade of depth is reversed.
Abstract:
The present invention provides pyrazole derivative compounds and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds of the present invention have an excellent effect of preventing and treating osteoporosis.
Abstract:
A display apparatus according to example embodiments may include a light source; an all-in-one type light guide plate; a reflective plate; and a display panel. The all-in-one type light guide plate may include a light guide member and light emitting members, wherein the light guide member reflects light incident from the light source toward the light emitting members, and the light emitting members protrude from one side of the light guide member and emit light incident from the light guide member. The light guide member and the light emitting members may be integrally formed or individually combined to form an all-in-one type light guide plate. The display apparatus may form an image using light from a backlight unit and external light.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method of simultaneously removing sulfur and mercury from a hydrocarbon material, including: hydrotreating the hydrocarbon material containing sulfur and mercury in the presence of a catalyst including a metal supported with a carrier to convert sulfur into hydrogen sulfide, and adsorb mercury on a metal active site or a carrier of the catalyst in the form of mercury sulfide.
Abstract:
Specific embodiments of the present invention provide a hydrocracking process for converting low value-added heavy hydrocarbon distillates into high value-added hydrocarbon distillates using a supercritical solvent as a medium.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for nasal administration comprising mometasone furoate and azelastine hydrochloride, wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises thaumatin as an agent for reducing bitterness and irritation.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a hydrocracking catalyst for preparing valuable light aromatic hydrocarbons from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons derived from oil, which includes (i) beta-zeolite, (ii) pseudo-boehmite, and (iii) one or more metals selected from among metals of Groups VIII and VIB, and which further includes a cocatalyst component, thereby producing a maximum amount of BTX (Benzene, Toluene, Xylene) from LCO (Light Cycle Oil).
Abstract:
Disclosed are a carbon nanomaterial pellet and a method for preparing same. More particularly, it relates to a carbon nanomaterial pellet having a specific size and a high apparent density prepared by a simple process using only a rotary tablet press without mixing a carbon nanomaterial powder with a solvent or an additive, which is capable of solving the powder dust problem occurring when preparing a polymer composite from a carbon nanomaterial in the form of powder, thus improving physical properties and remarkably reducing cost of packaging and transportation, and a method for preparing the carbon nanomaterial pellet from a carbon nanomaterial powder.
Abstract:
A method of producing a rice cake that becomes not hardened for a long time period, a rice cake produced by using the method, and a processed food produced by processing the rice cake are provided. The method includes: (a) immersing grains in water and removing the water therefrom; (b) grinding the grains from which water is removed, adding water thereto, and then grinding the grains to which water is added; (c) steaming the ground grains; and (d) cooling the steamed grains, adding flour thereto, and then punching the resultant product. The rice cake has a long storage time and is suitable for a long-term distribution. The rice cake preserves its soft texture for a long time period and is thus appropriate for consumers' acceptability.
