Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for preparing phenolic polymers utilizing Coprinus cinereus peroxidase. More particularly, the present invention relates to a process for preparing phenolic polymers by polymerizing phenolic monomers with Coprinus cinereus peroxidase instead of using typical peroxidase which essentially requires the use of toxic formalin or peroxidase of plant origin which is very costly and easily deactivated by hydrogen peroxide in the polymerization of phenolic monomers, wherein the polymerization is conducted in the presence of a polar organic solvent under mild reaction conditions of atmospheric temperature and pressure to economically produce desired phenolic polymers having excellent water and chemical resistances with high yield.
Abstract:
A method for coding an RGB color space signal is disclosed. In accordance with the method, a base plane is encoded using an independent mode, and an enhanced plane is encoded by referring to the base plane without converting the RGB color space signal into YCbCr color space signal to reduce a redundancy between RGB planes and improve a compression ratio of an image.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electron beam generator with an adjustable beam width. Said electron beam generator comprises: a plasma generating chamber that generates and sustains plasma; an RF power-generating antenna disposed on the outer circumference of said plasma generating chamber; a primary grid mounted on the outlet of said plasma generating chamber; a secondary grid placed at a fixed distance away from said primary grid; a beam width controller comprising an inlet, an outlet and a hollow inside, wherein the inlet is located on the side of said secondary grid, and the electron particles introduced through said inlet form electron beams of a pre-set beam width and are discharged through said outlet; and an RF shield ring disposed to surround the outer circumference of the inlet of said beam width controller. In the electron beam generator of the present invention, the electron particles discharged from said plasma generating chamber are delivered in the form of electron beams of a preset beam width to the outlet of said beam width controller.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses an infrared detection type shooting game machine and method, which changes the degree of difficulty and environment of a game depending upon a distance measured using a plurality of references arranged at irregular intervals, thus providing realistic and interesting games. The shooting game method includes (a) displaying images, including a mark, by a display means and displaying a plurality of references that are bases for detection of coordinates; (b) detecting a partial image of a certain region of a point indicated through . an indication means manipulated by a player; (c) receiving the detected partial image, detecting coordinates of the references, and setting coordinates of the references to the detected coordinates of the references; (d) detecting indicated coordinates of the point indicated by the player based upon the coordinates of the references; (e) measuring a distance D between the display means and the indication means based upon previously stored intervals between the plurality stored intervals between the plurality of references and distances between the coordinates of the references; and (f) setting reference distances D0 to some of distances D between the display means and the indication means falling within a certain range, and changing a degree of difficulty and situations of the game depending upon whether the reference distances are fulfilled.
Abstract:
A high voltage regulation circuit, in which an output voltage is regulated by the resistance distribution method using a differential amplifier during a normal state but by having a current flow through both ends of the resistors of a high voltage regulator when a noise is inputted thereto. The present invention includes a high voltage regulation part regulating a high voltage by having a constant current flow through both ends of resistors of a high voltage regulator when a noise is inputted thereto, a high voltage level detection part controlling a high voltage regulation operation by detecting that an output voltage is reduced to a level equal to or lower than a predetermined level, and a current mirror part providing the high voltage regulation part with a constant current by being equipped with a current source.

A method for manufacturing electrodes of an electron gun for a cathode ray tube and electrodes manufactured thereby are disclosed. The method for manufacturing electrodes of an electron gun for a cathode ray tube comprising the steps of preparing a first electrode member having beam passing holes, the circumferential portion of which has a predetermined thickness, and gas exhaust holes; preparing a second electrode member having a flat portion which has through holes formed to be larger than the beam passing holes and another gas exhaust holes formed to be the same as or larger than the gas exhaust holes, a side portion perpendicularly extended from the peripheral portion of the flat portion, and embedded portions perpendicularly extended from the side portion; and aligning the electrode members for the beam passing holes and gas exhaust holes of the first electrode member to respectively correspond to the through holes and gas exhaust holes of the second electrode member, and welding the electrode members to each other. With the method, the manufacture of electrodes can be performed with ease, and, in particular deformation of electrode members by mechanical and thermal stresses produced during manufacturing processes can be prevented.
