    摘要: The supporting body of an instrument is joined to a casing by means of ribs fitting into guideways angularly spaced around a centerline of the supporting body. Thereby, small clearances between the ribs and guideways in a direction parallel to the casing wall surfaces are effective in limiting play at right angles to the casing walls, where much greater clearances must be provided. The casing may expand or shrink freely without exerting strains on the supporting body that could interfere with the proper function of the instrument, due to the large radial clearances between the ribs and guideways.

    摘要: A mining auger includes an auger shaft having a front end, a conical end ring affixed to the front end of the auger and having a forwardly oriented face and a peripheral edge zone; a plurality of tool holders affixed to the peripheral edge zone in a circumferential distribution and each having a forwardly oriented face; and a cutting tool bit carried in each tool holder. Each cutting tool bit projects forwardly beyond a peripheral edge of the conical end ring and has a longitudinal axis extending at an inclined orientation with respect to an imaginary frontal plane which is perpendicular to the auger axis and which generally coincides with the mine wall face during operation. At least some of the tool holders carry a shearing tool bit each having an axis extending from the forwardly oriented face of the conical end ring in the direction of the frontal plane and further, each shearing tool bit has a tip which is at a significant distance from the forwardly oriented face of the respective tool holder.

    摘要: To leach the metal, crushed ore must be dumped in relatively thin layers of a height of approx. 5 m to 10 m. A conveying and stacking system, including a movable conveyor belt system, traveling tripper and stacker is used for this. The movable conveyor belt system is formed by a plurality of individual belts, the so-called grasshoppers. Provisions are made in the dumping technology for a high block for the end device in the conveying chain, the stacker with its swingable stacker boom, to always discharge an arc-shaped layer of ore, after which the device moves back by the amount of the next layer to be discharged in an arc-shaped pattern. This process is repeated until the stacker has moved back by the effective length of a grasshopper. Conveying is then stopped, one grasshopper is removed from the conveyor belt system and dumping of the ore is then continued. To enable this technology to be used, the stacker must be provided with a material pickup area, which is as long as a grasshopper. Furthermore, the material pickup must take place laterally from the direction of conveying of the stacker to ensure that the stacker is not hindered during the moving back. A transfer grasshopper is provided for this purpose, which stands in the direction of conveying at an angle of approx. 30° to 60° in relation to the main direction of conveying of the stacker. To enable the individual devices of the system to perform the movement intended for them, they are equipped with individually driven and steerable caterpillar-type chassis.

    摘要: A movable belt conveyor system for a leach pad for use for sulfidic copper ore, where favorable conditions are to be generated for leaching out the copper by a slight compaction of the ore piled up into a dump for the microbiological leaching technology. The movable belt conveyor system of a length of up to several km is composed of a plurality of smaller belt segments, comprising a tail segment (70), standard segments (711-n) and a head segment (72), as well as a traveling tripper (8). To prevent the loading by these individual components from being excessively compacted by the weight of the device during multiple travel over the dump during the moving process, the belt drives with the driving drum are accommodated in the tail element (70), which is supported on the soil next to the leach pad. In addition, the traveling tripper (8) is designed as an independent unit with the belt drums, additional belt drives and the belt-tensioning means, which unit is autarchically displaceable on a caterpillar-type moving gear (85) of its own.
