Abstract: A charging unit guidance system includes a processor and a memory. The memory includes instructions that upon execution by the processor, cause the processor to receive a sequence of user states associated with a user of a first autonomous vehicle, each user state being one of a walking state and an at-charging-unit state and the sequence of user states being based on a sequence of observed user speeds associated with detected user position data associated with movement of the user from the first autonomous vehicle to a charging unit and at the charging unit, determine a charging unit location of the charging unit based on a correlation between the at-charging-unit states in the sequence of user states and the user position data, and upload the charging unit location associated with the charging unit to an edge computing system, the edge computing system being configured to provide guidance instructions to the charging unit to a second autonomous vehicle based at least in part on the charging unit location.

Abstract: A method for generating garage parking notifications includes receiving current parked-vehicle data indicating that a vehicle has been parked inside a garage. The current parked-vehicle data includes the current location of the vehicle parked inside the garage. The method further includes determining whether the current location of the vehicle inside the garage is within a warning zone. The warning zone is an area inside the garage where the vehicle has not been frequently parked. The warning zone area is determined using historical parked-vehicle data. The method further includes generating a notification to warn an operator of the vehicle that the vehicle should be moved in response to determining that the current location of the vehicle inside the garage is within the warning zone.

Abstract: A system for active roll control for a vehicle body is provided and includes a sensor operable to monitor a tilt of the body and a suspension system. The suspension system includes an active sway bar including a first bar portion, a second bar portion, and an active roll control motor disposed between the first bar portion and the second bar portion. The active roll control motor is operable to turn the first bar portion in relation to the second bar portion. The system further includes a computerized active roll control controller which is operative to monitor a driving mode including one of straight-line driving and rounding a curve on a road, monitor an output of the sensor, determine a desired roll moment based upon the driving mode and the output of the sensor, and control the active roll control motor based upon the desired roll moment.

Abstract: A process for correcting longitudinal roll from an offset load using active roll control within a vehicle is provided. The process includes, within a computerized controller using axle-based control to control a suspension system, operating programming to control pneumatic pressure supplied to each of a plurality of air spring devices within the suspension system to execute a vehicle leveling event including one of adjusting a height of the vehicle or maintaining the height of the vehicle. The process further includes operating programming to, simultaneously with the controlling the pneumatic pressure, utilize a plurality of active sway bars to provide an offset torque to the vehicle body. Each of the plurality of active sway bars is associated with one of a plurality of axles. Providing the offset torque is based upon a number of moles of air in each of the plurality of air spring devices and reducing the longitudinal roll.

In one embodiment, a method includes: receiving, by a processor, visual data from a plurality of vehicles, wherein the visual data is associated with an intersection of a roadway having one or more lanes; receiving, by the processor, vehicle data from the plurality of vehicles, wherein the vehicle data is associated with the intersection of the roadway; determining, by the processor, a first state of a traffic light associated with the intersection based on the visual data; determining, by the processor, a second state of the traffic light associated with the intersection based on the vehicle data; correlating, by the processor, the first state and the second state based on a time synchronization; assigning, by the processor, the traffic light to a lane of the roadway based on the correlating; and communicating, by the processor, the traffic light to lane assignment for use in controlling a vehicle of the multiple vehicles.

Abstract: A method for executing a V2V data exchange includes determining if a host vehicle is communicatively connected to a seeder vehicle, and transmitting a prompt between the two vehicles to initiate a resource discovery process. The seeder vehicle wirelessly transmits to the host vehicle a Bloom filter with multiple file IDs mapped to a bit array. Each file ID has a corresponding file version number encoded to the bit array. The method then determines if a local file ID of an existing file stored via the host vehicle is a member of the Bloom filter; if so, the host vehicle determines if a remote file version number encoded to a counterpart file ID is newer than a file version number of the local file ID. If the remote file version number is newer, the seeder vehicle transmits the data file associated with the counterpart file ID to the host vehicle.
