Abstract:
In a method of operating a gas turbine, in which a gaseous fuel is burned in a combustion chamber and the hot combustion gases which are produced in the process are directed through the gas turbine, and in which method the gaseous fuel is fed to the combustion chamber via a plurality of controllable burners, working in parallel and arranged on one or more concentric, essentially circular rings, and is sprayed into the combustion chamber via fuel holes, high safety and availability within various operating ranges is achieved in a simple manner owing to the fact that the burners are divided into at least two groups (40-42) of burners, these groups in each case include the burners of one of the rings, and these groups are individually activated as a function of the operating state of the gas turbine.

The present invention relates to 4,6-disubstituted aminopyrimidine derivatives and/or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, the use of these derivatives as pharmaceutically active agents, especially for the prophylaxis and/or treatment of infectious diseases, including opportunistic diseases, prion diseases, immunological diseases, autoimmune diseases, bipolar and clinical disorders, cardiovascular diseases, cell proliferative diseases, diabetes, inflammation, transplant rejections, erectile dysfunction, neurodegenerative diseases and stroke, and pharmaceutical compositions containing at least one of said 4,6-di substituted aminopyrimidine derivatives and/or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of said 4,6-disubstituted aminopyrimidine derivatives as inhibitors for a protein kinase and a medium comprising at least one of said 4,6-disubstituted aminopyrimidine derivatives in an immobilized form and the use of said medium for enriching, purifying and/or depleting nucleotide binding proteins which bind to the immobilized 4,6-disubstituted aminopyrimidine derivatives.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a gas detection system (1) for detecting gases, vapors and biological pathogens, having at least one receptor (4) arranged on a line (5) connecting the ambient air (7) to an air storage unit, wherein the gas detection system (1) is designed as a “breathing” system containing clean CO2-carrying and moisture-saturated air in the air storage unit (2), wherein the operating temperature of the gas detection system (1) is the room temperature. Additionally, a method is proposed for detecting gases, vapors and biological pathogens using the inventive gas detection system. This avoids the shortcomings of the known solutions of the prior art, and an improved and more cost-effective solution for detecting trace gases is made available.
Abstract:
A device for producing sausages having at least two coextrusion heads for co-extruding strands of sausage meat which are encased with a casing material, a joint supply is provided for the sausage meat and/or a joint supply is provided for the casing material, each being connected via individual supply elements to the coextrusion heads. The device permits producing exact products where at least the supply means for the casing material and/or the associated supply elements regulating/controlling the volume and/or the pressure of the casting material flow.

Abstract:
An integrated memory with a configuration of non-volatile memory cells based on ferromagnetic storage contains both powerful memory cells with a magnetoresistive effect with a transistor control and cost-effective memory cells with a magnetoresistive effect with memory elements connected between the word lines and bit lines. The memory elements connected directly between the bit line and the word line are preferably inserted in memory cell arrays that can be stacked one above the other above the memory cells with the transistor, and thereby achieve a high integration density. The fact that the memory, which contains both types and thereby satisfies all the system requirements, is fabricated in one module and in one process sequence considerably lowers the fabrication costs.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a compound of the general formula (I), wherein R1 together with the C atom to which it is attached, and R2 together with the N atom to which it is attached, form a piperidinyl ring; X represents a bond, oxygen or —NR12—; and Y represents oxygen; pharmaceutical compositions containing such a compound, as well as the use of such a compound for the production of pharmaceutical compositions, and for the treatment of inflammatory, auto-immune and immune diseases.
Abstract:
The data memory has a plurality of banks, each with a multiplicity of memory cells that form a matrix of rows and columns with respectively assigned matrix row lines and column lines. The banks are arranged spatially one on top of the other as stacks, with the stack edges that are parallel to the matrix rows and at which the ends of the column lines that are connected to a respective column-driving device are located, lie in a common plane. The common plane extends in the direction of the matrix rows and is substantially orthogonal with respect to the direction of the columns. The column-driving devices of all the banks are arranged directly adjacent to one another as a block in the direction of the columns, on or near the same edge of the bank stack. The banks preferably contain memory cells which can be read out without damage, and in each case a plurality of column lines are each assigned to one common sense amplifier in the column-driving device of each bank.
Abstract:
A current driver configuration for MRAMs includes word-line drivers and bit-line drivers at respective first ends of word lines and bit lines. The word line drivers and the bit line drivers each include a series circuit formed by an n-channel field-effect transistor and a current source. Further series circuits are provided at the respective second ends of the word lines and the bit lines. Each of the further series circuits includes a second n-channel field-effect transistor and a voltage source.
Abstract:
An arrangement (1) for electrothermally treating the human body or an animal body, in particular for tissue coagulation or electrotomy, includes two electrodes (3, 4) for insertion into the body to be treated. The two electrodes (3, 4) are electrically insulated from each other and are disposed at a distance from each other to produce an electric or electromagnetic field heating the body tissue in the treatment area, and each electrode is connected by a feed line with a power source arranged outside the body. An elongate catheter (2) is provided for joint insertion of the two electrodes (3, 4) into the body, which are staggered in relation to each other in the axial direction of the catheter (2) and connected to the catheter (2) or a component thereof.
