摘要: LED packages and LED displays utilizing the LED packages are disclosed, with the LED packages arranged to provide good contrast between the different pixels in an LED display while not reducing the perceived luminous flux or brightness of the display. One embodiment of an LED package comprises an LED chip and conversion material arranged to convert at least some light emitted from the LED chip. The package emits light from the conversion material or a combination of light from the conversion material and the LED chip. A reflective area is included around the LED chip that substantially reflects the package light and a contrasting area is included outside the reflective area and has a color that contrasts with the package light. LED displays according to the present invention comprise a plurality of LED packages arranged in relation to one another to produce messages or images, with the package providing improved pixel contrast.

摘要: A dispensing device includes inner and outer compartments for housing two different cosmetic liquid materials therein, the outer compartment secured to a cap by threading; a spring biased valve for blocking both openings of the inner and outer compartments when the device is in an inoperative position; and an outlet assembly partially fastened in the valve. An individual may unfasten and remove the cap from the device to unblock the valve, and squeeze both the outer and the inner compartments to push the cosmetic liquid materials to mix in the outlet assembly prior to dispensing out of the device.

摘要: A fastening device for combining plate-like pieces together is provided. Each piece defines a through hole. The fastening device includes a locking member, and a locking pin. The locking member includes a sleeve. At least one pressing portion and a plurality of legs are formed on two opposite ends of the locking member. The legs are configured for extending through the through holes of the pieces. At least one slot is defined in the sleeve. The locking pin includes a foot capable of being inserted in the sleeve to expand the legs. At least one block is formed on the foot. The locking pin is pressable and then turnable relative to the locking member to cause the foot inserting into the space to deform the legs to splay for sandwiching the pieces by cooperating with the pressing portion and the block being locked into the slot to engage the locking pin to the locking member.

摘要: An audio playing device may operate in a first mode or a second mode. The audio playing device includes a speaker, an earphone jack receiving an earphone plug of an earphone, a sound output driver, a rotation angle detector, and a processor. The sound output driver only drives the speaker when the audio playing device operates in the first mode and only drives the earphone when the audio playing device operates in the second mode. The rotation angle detector generates a first mode change signal when the earphone plug is rotated in the earphone jack along a first direction over a predetermined angle. The processor changes operation of the audio playing device between the first mode and the second mode when the processor receives the first mode change signal from the rotation angle detector.

摘要: An output controller and an method for outputting a signal flow to one or more earphone jacks according to a connection status of each earphone jack. The output controller includes an interface unit having more than one earphone jacks and an output control unit. The output control unit includes a signal input terminal for receiving a signal flow, a detector, and a determining module. The detector detects whether each earphone jack is connected with an earphone and outputs one or more detected signals representing the connection status of the earphone jacks. The determining module outputs the signal flow directly to the connected earphone jack if only one earphone jack is connected to the earphone or distributes the signal flow being amplified correspondingly into each connected earphone jack if more than one earphone jack is connected to the earphones.

The conversion module connects to an AC power source and converts the AC voltage provided by the AC power source to an AC current, and then converts the AC current to a direct current (DC) voltage reflecting the AC voltage. The comparison module is connected to the conversion module, and compares the DC voltage with a first predetermined voltage and a second lesser predetermined voltage, and produces a control signal when the DC voltage is greater than the first predetermined voltage or less than the second predetermined voltage. The prompt module produces a prompt signal when receiving the control signal.

摘要: An ADC includes an analog signal input port for receiving analog signals, a reference voltage generation circuit for producing a reference voltage, a controllable switch, a control unit including a counter, an integral circuit, and a comparison circuit. The control unit outputs an on or off signal to turn on or turn off the controllable switch, the counter starts to count when the control unit outputs the off signal. The integral circuit executes an integral action to integrate the reference voltage and output a voltage enhanced gradually when the controllable switch is turned off. The comparison circuit outputs an interrupt signal to cause the counter to stop counting when comparing the voltage output by the integral circuit is higher than the voltage of the analog signals. The control unit determines a digital value corresponding to the analog signals according to a count value of counted by the counter.

摘要: A handheld electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes an electrode unit, a storage unit, and a processing unit. The electrode unit includes a main body defining an annular cavity, a plurality of electrode groups, and a conductive element arranged within the annular cavity, wherein each of the plurality of the electrode groups includes a pair of conductive sheets, which are partially received in the annular cavity and are spaced apart from each other. When the electronic device is rotated to be in different orientation, the conductive element connects different electrode groups and the conductive sheets of the one of the electrode groups are connected to each other via the conductive element. The processing unit determines the connected electrode groups and executes a function corresponding to the determined electrode group. A function control method of the handheld electronic device is also provided.
