摘要: A diplexer for a reflector antenna includes a common circular signal waveguide to transmit and receive signals. The signal waveguide includes first and second ends with a common port provided at the first end. A waveguide arrangement is disposed coaxially relative to the signal waveguide in the region of the second end of the signal waveguide. A cylindrical coupler section is disposed between the first and second ends of the signal waveguide, and connects the waveguide arrangement to the common signal waveguide. In order to create a first and second coaxial waveguide port, the waveguide arrangement includes a first circular waveguide, an inner conductor is disposed inside, in which a first signal can propagate when the diplexer is operating, and a second circular waveguide, surrounding the first waveguide, in which a second signal can propagate at a lower frequency than the first signal when the diplexer is operating.

摘要: A method for calibrating an array antenna having a plurality of branches includes generating a test signal using a pseudo-random sequence assigned to one of the plurality of branches for each of the plurality of branches; adding the test signals to a useful signal of the antenna so as to form a summed signal emitted via the array antenna; receiving the summed signal with a receiver antenna; correlating the received summed signal with a replica of the pseudo-random sequence so as to produce a correlation result; estimating a characteristic of one of the plurality of branches by processing the correlation result; and calibrating the antenna based on the estimated characteristic.

摘要: In an indicating instrument, especially in a motor vehicle, having a cover glass (4) that appears dark and, under incident light, prevents any view of a dial (3) arranged at a distance behind it, and having at least one light source (8) arranged behind the dial (3) to transilluminate said dial (3) and therefore render the dial (3) visible through the cover glass (4). In order to prevent the dial (3) becoming visible when there is only incident light, the transmission of the dial (3) is matched to the transmission of the cover glass (4). To this end, in particular, the dial (3) is provided with a low transmission.

摘要: The preparation of alkyl glycosides by reaction of aqueous glycoses having a water content of 10-80% by weight with aliphatic primary alcohols having from 5 to 30 C atoms is described, in which(a) the alcohols and the glycoses are employed in a molar ratio of 2:1 to 10:1,(b) 0.1-5% by weight, based on the amount of the glycoses employed, of the acidic form of an anionic surfactant is used as the acidic catalyst having emulsifying properties,(c) 1-30% by weight, based on the amount of the glycoses employed, of alkyl glycosides is used as a further emulsifier,(d) the aqueous glycose is preheated to 50.degree.-90.degree. C. and the preheated aqueous solution of the glycose is metered with effective mixing into the reaction mixture of alcohol, acidic catalyst and emulsifier in such a manner that an emulsion is formed,(e) the reaction is carried out at from 100.degree. to 150.degree. C. and from 10 to 100 mbar, the water introduced into the reaction mixture and the water formed by the reaction being continuously removed by distillation,(f) after the reaction has ended, the acidic catalyst is neutralized by addition of a base such that the resulting mixture has a pH of 8-10, then(g) the excess alcohol is removed by distillation at from 0.01 to 10 mbar down to a residual content of less than 5% by weight, based on the amount of alkyl glycoside present, and(h) the reaction mixture is bleached at pH 8-10 after conversion into an aqueous paste having a content of from 30 to 70% by weight of alkyl glycoside using a compound eliminating active oxygen.
