摘要: The total flow rate of the hot water flowing to a first heater core and a second heater core is controlled by a total flow rate control valve, and then the flow rate of the hot water to each of the heater cores is distributed by a distribution valve. According to this configuration, the flow rate of the hot water flowing through each of the heater cores is linearly controlled. Therefore, the heating of the driver's seat space by the first heater core and the heating of the air conditioning of the passenger's seat space by the second heater core can be linearly controlled.

摘要: An engine warming-up apparatus includes a reserve tank integrally provided with a heat insulating device provided in a coolant circuit in which coolant for cooling an internal combustion engine flows. The reserve tank includes a reserve tank body secured to the top of a tank base, a connection pipe for connecting between an outlet pipe of the tank base and the inside of the reserve tank body, and a heat insulating device located-between the tank base and the reserve tank body and covered by the reserve tank body. A degassing pipe is provided at the top of the heat insulating device so as to communicate between the inside of the heat insulating device and the inside of the reserve tank body. A water filling opening of a hot water supply pipe is formed around the top of the inside space of the heat insulating device. In this way, a high temperature coolant is firstly supplied at a cold start, thereby improving warming up performance.

摘要: According to the present invention, a hot water type heating apparatus includes a heat exchanger and a flow quantity control valve which controls a quantity of hot water to the heat exchanger. The flow quantity control valve includes a valve housing provided with a first inlet pipe to which the hot water flows, a first outlet pipe which returns hot water to an engine, a second outlet pipe which directs the hot water to the heat exchanger, a second inlet pipe to which the hot water from the heat exchanger flows and a bypass circuit which selectively connects the hot water from the first inlet pipe directly with the first outlet pipe, and a valve body for adjusting an opening area between the first inlet pipe and the second outlet pipe. The first inlet pipe and the first outlet pipe extend from a passenger compartment of a vehicle to an engine room thereof, thereby simplifying the work for connecting these pipes.

摘要: A battery unit includes a module assembly, a housing that houses the module assembly, and a blower. The module assembly includes a stack of battery modules, and defines a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The blower is disposed at an end of the module assembly. A rotation shaft of the blower is located between a first plane that includes the first surface and a second plane that includes the second surface. The blower is configured to supply air toward the first surface of the module assembly in a direction perpendicular to a stacking direction of the battery modules. The air is supplied over a range that is substantially equal to a dimension of the module assembly in the stacking direction.

摘要: A drive motor 42 is supported and fixed onto a motor support plate 44 composing a support member through vibration proof rubber 45 which damps vibration, the frequency of which is not less than 1 kHz, to be not more than 50%. Due to the foregoing, it becomes difficult for the vibration generated from the drive motor 42 itself, the frequency of which is not less than 1 kHz, to be transmitted to the support member so that the generation of resonance noise can be prevented. Further, a protrusion 44a is provided on a surface of the motor support plate 44 and the resonance frequency of the support member is adjusted to be not less than 1 kHz. Due to the foregoing, even when the vibration of the drive motor 42, the frequency of which is lower than 1 kHz, is transmitted to the support member, resonance noise is not generated.

摘要: A stent delivery catheter, which is a treatment instrument, has an elongated guide catheter which is to be inserted into an endoscope and the human body. The stent is provided around a distal end of a guide catheter. Furthermore, a stent installation member which can cover a flap provided on a proximal end of the stent is provided thereon. The distal end of a stent installation member is inserted so that it reaches a main conduit passing through a first conduit and a bifurcation provided inside of the endoscope. The flap provided on the proximal side of the stent and the proximal end of the stent is inserted into a main conduit passing through the stent installation member. The stent is prevented from becoming stuck or the like when the treatment instrument is inserted into a conduit system of the endoscope.

摘要: A battery cooling apparatus for positively cooling an in-vehicle battery is disclosed. Air that has passed through a cooler (5) is supplied to batteries (1), and only internal air, but not external air, passes through the cooler (5). In this way, the batteries (1) can be cooled without being greatly affected by the disturbances such as the heat of an exhaust pipe and sunlight. Thus, the batteries (1) can be sufficiently cooled without increasing the heat radiation area, i.e. the surface area of the batteries (1). Noise of cooling air flow can be reduced while at the same time suppressing increases in both size and production cost of the battery.

摘要: In a cooling system for cooling a heating element mounted in a vehicle, a radiator is located at a position higher than a heat sink, which absorbs heat from the heating element. When the amount of heat generated from the heating element, which is detected by a sensor, is greater than a predetermined first value, a blower is operated. Further, when the detected amount of heat is greater than a predetermined second value that is higher than the predetermined first value, a pump is operated. When the detected amount of heat is equal to or less than the predetermined first value, the pump is stopped and the cooling water is circulated by a principle of heat siphon. Accordingly, power consumption of the pump is reduced. Further, power consumption of the cooling system is reduced or an increase in power consumption of the cooling system is restricted.
