    摘要: A display device includes first and second substrates, and first and second alignment keys. The first and second substrates have first and second display regions and first and second peripheral regions, respectively. The first alignment key is disposed in the first peripheral region of the first substrate. The first alignment key includes a first pattern and a second pattern. The second alignment key is disposed in the second peripheral region of the second substrate such that the second alignment key faces the first alignment key. As a result, first alignment key may be formed through a procedure of forming the pixel electrode. Therefore, there exists no deviation between the first alignment key and the pixel electrode and the first alignment key may be easily detected because of the first pattern that is opaque, so that misalignment is prevented.

    摘要: A display panel includes a first display substrate, a second display substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The first display substrate includes a first base substrate having a plurality of display cells, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of gate lines, and a plurality of pixel electrodes. The data lines, the gate lines and the pixel electrodes are respectively separated in each of the display cells. The second display substrate includes a second base substrate, a light blocking pattern corresponding to the data lines and the gate lines, a common electrode facing the pixel electrodes, and a common line overlapping with the blocking pattern. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first and second display substrate.

    摘要: A display substrate includes a base substrate, a conductive line on the base substrate, a switching element and a testing member. The switching element includes a first electrode formed on the semiconductor layer pattern and electrically connected to the conductive line, and a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode and semiconductor layer pattern. The testing member includes a conductive line testing portion that is formed from the same layer as the conductive line and an electrode testing portion that is formed from the same layer as the first electrode. The conductive line testing portion and the electrode testing portion have substantially the same width as the conductive line and the first electrode, respectively. The testing member also includes a semiconductor layer testing portion. The display substrate lends itself to efficient manufacturing with reduced process time and cost.

    摘要: Disclosed is a liquid crystal display apparatus including a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. A pixel area is defined on the first substrate. A pixel electrode includes a cut-out pattern and is formed in the pixel area. A conductive pattern is disposed between the first substrate and the pixel electrode, and partially overlaps the cut-out pattern when viewed from a plan view. A common electrode is disposed on the second substrate and includes a domain divider dividing the pixel area into a plurality of domains. A light blocking member is disposed on one of the first substrate and the second substrate, and is positioned corresponding to a portion of areas in which the cut-out pattern overlaps the conductive pattern within the pixel area.
