Abstract: An energy optimization system for a building includes a processing circuit configured to generate a user interface including an indication of one or more economic load demand response (energy) operation parameters, one or more first participation hours, and a first load reduction amount for each of the one or more first participation hours. The processing circuit is configured to receive one or more overrides of the one or more first participation hours from the user interface, generate one or more second participation hours, a second load reduction amount for each of the one or more second participation hours, and one or more second equipment loads for the one or more pieces of building equipment based on the received one or more overrides, and operate the one or more pieces of building equipment to affect an environmental condition of the building based on the one or more second equipment loads.

Abstract: A central plant optimization system for designing and operating a central plant includes a planning tool, a central plant controller, and an optimization platform. The planning tool is configured to generate a model of the central plant. The central plant controller is configured to receive the model of the central plant from the planning tool and combine the model of the central plant with timeseries data including a timeseries of predicted energy loads to be served by equipment of the central plant. The optimization platform is configured to receive the model of the central plant combined with the timeseries data, construct an optimization problem using the model of the central plant and the timeseries data, solve the optimization problem to determine an optimal allocation of the energy loads across the equipment of the central plant, and provide optimization results to the central plant controller. The central plant controller is configured to use the optimization results to operate the equipment of the central plant to achieve the optimal allocation of the predicted energy loads.

Abstract: A building management system (BMS) includes building equipment, a data collector, a sample aggregator, and an application. The building equipment is operable to monitor and control a variable in the BMS and to provide raw data samples of the variable. The data collector is configured to collect the raw data samples from the building equipment and generate a raw data timeseries including a plurality of the raw data samples. The sample aggregator is configured to automatically generate a data rollup timeseries including a plurality of aggregated data samples. The aggregated data samples are generated by aggregating the raw data samples as the raw data samples are collected from the building equipment. Both timeseries are stored in a timeseries database. The application is configured to retrieve the raw data timeseries and the data rollup timeseries from the timeseries database in response to a request for timeseries data associated with the variable.

The plurality of timeseries include a timeseries of the raw data samples and the one or more optimized data timeseries generated by the data platform services based on the raw data timeseries. The energy management application generates an ad hoc dashboard including a widget and associates the widget with the data point. The widget displays a graphical visualization of the plurality of timeseries associated with the data point and includes interactive user interface options for switching between the plurality of timeseries associated with the data point.
