    Abstract: The methods and systems discussed herein describe how a first wireless communication device forwards a reservation signal, which identifies one or more time-slots that have been reserved by a second wireless communication device, to avoid “merging collisions.” In some examples, the first wireless communication device determines that it should forward the reservation signal based on a determination that the first wireless communication device is located at the edge of a coverage area associated with the second wireless communication device. This determination can be based on location information associated with the second wireless communication device or whether a received power value of the reservation signal is within a pre-defined threshold range value. In other examples, the first wireless communication device transmits an updated forwarded reservation signal, which is an update of a previously forwarded reservation signal in which multiple time-slots were reserved.

    Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) calculates an estimated uplink interference caused by the UAV at a neighboring cell based on a downlink signal received from the neighboring cell. Based on the estimated uplink interference, the UAV monitors downlink messages transmitted from the neighboring cell. If the uplink interference experienced by the neighboring cell exceeds an interference threshold, the neighboring cell transmits a downlink message, which includes an uplink interference indicator, to the UAV. Upon receipt of the uplink interference indicator, the UAV transmits a measurement report, including the uplink interference indicator, to the serving cell. In some cases, the serving cell transmits a handover command to the UAV based at least partially on the measurement report. The serving cell may also maintain a mobility history for the neighboring cell. The mobility history indicates a history of uplink interference problems and/or UAV handover availability for the neighboring cell.

    Abstract: A base station includes a controller that performs multicast service SC-PTM transmission, and a transmitter that transmits SC-PTM configuration information related to a configuration of the SC-PTM transmission via a SC-PTM control channel, which is a logical channel different from a MCCH, and transmits multicast data via a traffic channel for the SC-PTM transmission. Each of the SC-PTM control channel and the traffic channel is mapped on a DL-SCH. The transmitter transmits a SIB related to the SC-PTM control channel via a BCCH, transmits first resource allocation information for transmitting the SC-PTM configuration information via a PDCCH, where a predetermined RNTI for the SC-PTM control channel is applied to transmission of the first resource allocation information, and transmits second resource allocation information for transmitting multicast data by the SC-PTM transmission via the PDCCH. A G-RNTI different from the predetermined RNTI is applied to transmission of the second resource allocation information.
