Abstract:
A communication control method applied to a mobile communication system including a user terminal capable of storing an MDT measurement log related to a radio environment measured based on an instruction from a network and a connection establishment failure log related to a failure of RRC connection establishment procedure with the network, the method includes the steps of: reserving a dedicated memory area for storing the connection establishment failure log, by the user terminal; and storing the connection establishment failure log in the dedicated memory area reserved in the reserving step, by the user terminal.
Abstract:
A communication control method is employed in a mobile communication system including a general cell supporting PTM transmission of MBMS data and a specific cell not supporting PTM transmission of the MBMS data. The method comprises: a step A of broadcasting general cell load information from the general cell; a step B of receiving the general cell load information broadcasted in the step A, by a user terminal which receives the MBMS data from the general cell in an idle mode with the general cell selected as a cell on which to camp; and a step C of controlling cell reselection from the general cell to the specific cell by the user terminal, based on the general cell load information received in the step B.
Abstract:
A user terminal according to a first feature supports an Immediate MDT. The user terminal includes: a GNSS receiver for obtaining GNSS location information; a user interface that receives an operation from a user; and a controller that keeps the GNSS receiver an active state for the Immediate MDT unless the user turns the GNSS receiver off, in a case where the user terminal is requested by a network to make the GNSS location information available.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system includes a base station and a first user terminal and a second user terminal that establish a connection with the base station. When the first user terminal starts D2D communication, which is direct device to device communication, with the second user terminal, the first user terminal notifies the base station of an amount of specific data transmitted preferably in the D2D communication.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system supports cellular communication in which data communication is performed between a network and a user terminal and D2D communication in which data communication is directly performed among two or more user terminals. The D2D communication is performed by using a part of the uplink radio resources of the cellular communication. The uplink radio resources include a specific radio resource that is used in the transmission of a predetermined uplink signal in the cellular communication. The use of the specific radio resource in the D2D communication is regulated.

Abstract:
A communication control method in a mobile communication system including a first base station and at least one second base station having a smaller coverage area than the first base station, comprises: a step A of transmitting location information indicating a location of the second base station from the first base station; and a step B of transmitting proximity notification information to the first base station from a user terminal connected to the first base station after the user terminal receives the location information, the proximity notification information indicating that the user terminal is in proximity of the second base station and being used for making the user terminal use a different carrier from a carrier used by the second base station.
Abstract:
A user equipment, method, and chipset receive from a base station resource information indicating usable radio resources for data transmitted in the direct communication, detect a power when receiving a radio signal directly transmitted from another user terminal, and determine, based on the result of the process, a radio resource used to transmit the data from among the usable radio resources indicated by the resource information.
Abstract:
A communication method, a user equipment, and a base station operate in a manner in which the user equipment receives from the base station control information indicating a plurality of frequencies for performing sidelink communication and a resource pool associated with each of the plurality of frequencies, and the user equipment selects a first frequency among the plurality of frequencies.
Abstract:
User equipment, apparatus and method perform dual connectivity with a first base station acting as a master base station and a second base station acting as a secondary base station, transmit to the master base station capability information indicating that the user equipment supports a function of skipping a random access procedure, and receive from the master base station, a message instructing to change the secondary base station from the second base station to a third base station. The message includes information indicating that random access procedure for the third base station is skipped and an including an uplink grant indicating radio resources allocated by the third base station and a timing advance (TA) value to be applied to an uplink transmission to the third base station. The user equipment transmits the uplink transmission to the third base station by using the uplink radio resources indicated by the uplink grant.
