摘要: The present invention provides multiple-luminophore silica nanoparticles for multiplexed signaling in bioanalysis. In specific embodiments, two inorganic luminophores, Tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)osmium(II) bis(hexafluorophosphate) (OsBpy) and Tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)dichlororuthenium(II) hexahydrate (RuBpy), or three organic luminophores 5-Fluorescein isothiocyanate (5-FITC), 5-carboxyrhodamine 6G, succinimidyl ester (5-CR6G, SE), 6-carboxy-X-rhodamine, succinimidyl ester (6-ROX, SE) can be simultaneously entrapped inside silica nanoparticles at controlled ratios, with desirable sizes and required surface functionality. Single-wavelength excitation with multiple emission endows the nanoparticles with optical encoding capability for rapid and high-throughput multiplexed detection.

摘要: In one embodiment, an application integration system collects business application information and generates and stores certain business flow and state information for the application, its involved users and shared business content within the system. This automation process defines the collaboration models between the content, process and users involved in the collaboration project. The automation process uses specific information pertaining to the involved users and applications of the system, the process flows of the application program, and the shared content to automate the integration of the distributed computer applications by defining the integration flow as a process checkpoint flow consisting of numerous checkpoints through which the business content transitions. Users of the collaboration hub platform are provided with an interactive console within a graphical user interface presented on their respective computing devices. The displayed graphical user interface elements are generated based on the shared business content and process flows of the distributed applications comprising the integrated project.

摘要: An absorbent material comprising a mixture of (1) a plurality of absorbent gelling particles comprising a water-insoluble, water-swellable polymer, and (2) an absorbent property modification polymer reactive with at least one component included in a urine. The mixture is made by (i) applying a solution containing an organic solvent, water and the absorbent property modification polymer onto the plurality of absorbent gelling particles, wherein the weight ratio of the organic solvent to the water is at least 50:50, and (ii) removing a portion of the organic solvent and water from the applied absorbent gelling particles. When a urine is applied to the absorbent material, the absorbent gelling particles are spontaneously connective through the absorbent property modification polymer. The absorbent material has at least one of the improved absorbent properties after swelling such as (1) liquid permeability, (2) porosity, (3) wet integrity, and (4) recovery property when subjected to external forces.
