Each compression processing portion has a restart marker inserting portion for inserting restart markers into the compressed data while circulating eight types of restart markers and also inserting a special restart marker into a rearmost portion of the compressed data, and a data length counter for counting a data length of the compressed data to which the restart markers are inserted.

    摘要: In an imaging section, an image of an object is converted to signal charge by photodiodes arranged in the form of a matrix, the signal charge is transferred to output circuits by vertical transfer paths, and then the signal charge transferred to the output circuits is converted to signal voltage by the output circuits. The signal voltage is output from the output circuits to a signal conversion section as signals. The signal conversion section performs a processing for the signals in parallel, and outputs the processed signals to a display section. In the display section, signals are converted to voltage by input circuits, and the voltage is respectively applied to drain buses. A vertical driving circuit scans gate buses, and supplies gate driving pulses. Field effect transistors supplied with the gate driving pulses store charge in response to the voltage applied to liquid crystal devices, thus displaying an image.

Workpieces (1, 2) are scanned with a light beam (52) across a weld line (4), and the surface positions of the workpieces (1, 2) are measured by reflected light, whereby the position of the gradually lowering workpiece ends is determined. Recess detecting lines (62) lower than the upper surfaces of the workpieces (1, 2) are set in advance. When the detected surface positions cross the recess detecting lines (62), the lowest surface position (C) among the surface positions between the two crossed points can be determined as the butt position (48).

    摘要: An IC memory card includes an input/output unit attachable to or detachable from a host processing apparatus, a storage unit having a semiconductor memory for storing data, and a control unit for performing write control of data transmitted from the host processing apparatus into the storage unit and read control of the data stored in the storage unit, which is to be transferred to the host processing apparatus. In such an IC memory card, the storage unit is provided with a fixed area in which fixed information not to be overwritten has previously been written and with a variable area in which rewritable data and management information for the rewritable data are written. The control unit includes an address detector for detecting if the fixed area of the storage unit is accessed and for generating a detection signal if such an access occurs. A read/write controller is included for providing such a control that when the address detector detects the fact that the fixed area of the storage unit is accessed, a control signal for writing of data supplied from the host processing apparatus is masked by the detection signal so as to inhibit the data from being written into the storage unit.

In order to relate the timing of recording the audio signal to that of the video signal, the audio signal to be recorded is processed in an audio signal processing circuit in response to the manipulation of a manual switch, and the video signal to be recorded is processed in a video signal processing circuit after a required delay time relative to the audio signal, so that the audio signal and the video signal can be recorded in matching relation without the possibility of mismanipulation and without the need for troublesome recording procedures.
