摘要: If the combustion status detected in a steady state is partial combustion, the setting of a combustion status control parameter for the next cycle is adjusted so as to provide an increased degree of partial combustion. If, on the other hand, the detected combustion status is fast combustion, the setting of the control parameter for the next cycle is adjusted so as to provide an increased degree of fast combustion. The combustion status can be detected in accordance with an output parameter that correlates with the engine torque.

摘要: A combustion state estimating apparatus for estimating the state of combustion in an internal combustion engine includes an angular acceleration calculator that calculates a crank angle acceleration, and a combustion state estimator that estimates the state of combustion in the internal combustion engine based on the crank angle acceleration in a crank angle interval in which an average value of inertia torque caused by a reciprocating inertia mass of the internal combustion engine is substantially zero. Thus, the combustion state estimating apparatus excludes the effect that the inertia torque caused by the reciprocating inertia mass has on the angular acceleration, and therefore is able to precisely estimate the state of combustion based on the angular acceleration.

摘要: A multicolor lithographic rotary press comprises a plurality of printing sections arranged along a traveling line of paper web, a plurality of register adjusting means, a paper stretching means and a plurality of width adjusting means. Each of the printing sections further includes at least one of divided plate cylinder each divided section of which is independently moved in the axial direction and/or the circumferential direction. The paper stretching means is arranged at the downstream of the printing sections to apply a stretching force to the paper web. The width adjusting means is arranged between two sets of the printing sections to apply an adjusting force to the paper web. The register adjusting means is mechanically connected to each of the divided plate cylinders in the printing sections, and includes an adjusting mechanism for actuating the divided sections in response to a control unit connected to a sensor for detecting the lines and images printed on the paper web by each of the printing sections.

摘要: This invention improves the access efficiency of each of a plurality of memory devices mounted on a semiconductor chip. The invention provides a memory control circuit including a queue buffer unit, a management unit to set the CKE signal at High for a memory device to which a determination target access command is to be issued when it is determined that the determination target access command has shifted to the head position of the queue buffer unit, a command generating unit to issue an access command, and a data interface unit to execute processing specified by an access command. The management unit performs control to set the CKE signal to Low for the memory device to which the determination target access command is to be issued based on the state of the queue buffer unit when it is determined that the processing by the data interface unit is complete.

摘要: It is an object to provide an L-ascorbic acid derivative which can keep the L-ascorbic acid stable to heat and light and thus has a long shelf life, which is high in permeability into the skin, which can be quickly hydrolyzed by phosphatase, an enzyme that is ubiquitous in vivo, and which exhibits physiological activities that are inherent to L-ascorbic acid and beneficial to health, a method for producing such an L-ascorbic acid derivative, and a skin-whitening cosmetic material. There is provided an ascorbic acid derivative comprising an L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate ester or a salt thereof wherein the phosphate ester has a branched alkyl group, the L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate ester being of formula [13]. The ascorbic acid derivative is produced by a method comprising reacting a branched alkanol with phosphorus oxychloride to synthesize monoalkyldichlorophosphate or dialkylmonochlorophosphate, reacting the thus obtained substance with 5,6-O-isopropylidene-L-ascorbic acid obtained by reacting L-ascorbic acid with acetone, and subjecting the thus obtained substance to acid hydrolysis. There is also provided a cosmetic material containing such an ascorbic acid derivative by 0.05 to 80 percent by weight. (wherein each of R1 and R2 is a hydrogen (H) atom or an alkyl group having branches and including 3 to 30 carbon atoms, but not both of R1 and R2 are hydrogen (H) atoms)
