摘要： An apparatus for generating plasma by making use of electron cyclotron resonance employs permanent magnets for forming magnetic fields, and the permanent magnets are arranged in such a manner as to form stronger magnetic fields in peripheral portion of a plasma chamber than in a central portion of the same. in addition, a cross-sectional area of the plasma chamber is gradually increased. Furthermore, electrons are introduced into an additional plasma chamber in which an electric field is not applied so as to generate low-temperature plasma.

摘要： The components present in the sample with a mobile phase A in 1st section is separated. In 2nd section there is provided with an inserting line of a dilute solution for diluting the mobile phase A and a trapping column which forces the dilute solution to pass but catches the components by connecting said line to said column. In 3rd section, the components caught by the trapping column are introduced into mass spectrometer by using a mobile phase B. It is preferable to use respectively different mobile phases for the mobile phase A and the mobile phase B. It is good to install separating columns in 1st and 3rd sections. It is also desired to add the retaining apparatus of the components separated in 1st section.

摘要： A scroll type compressor is disclosed which includes a housing with an inner chamber and fluid inlet and outlet ports connected to the inner chamber. A fixed scroll, which is mounted within the housing, has an end plate from which a first spiral wrap extends. An orbiting scroll also is mounted within the housing for orbital motion with respect to the fixed scroll. The orbiting scroll has an end plate from which a second spiral wrap extends; and the first and second wraps interfit to define at least one pair of sealed off fluid pockets. The end plate of the fixed scroll partitions the inner chamber of the housing into a suction chamber and rear chamber. The end plate of the fixed scroll has at least one pair of holes for adjusting the displacement of the compressor. A control mechanism selectively controls fluid communication through the holes. The axial end surface of the second wrap is provided with a seal element which forms an axial seal between the second wrap and the end plate of the fixed scroll. An anti-wear plate is disposed on the end surface of the fixed end plate to prevent from friction between the seal element and end surface of the end plate. The anti-wear plate has cut-out portions facing the holes. Each cut-out portion has a predetermined shape and area to prevent cutting of the seal element and to minimize pressure loss.

摘要： A current is measured by making use of a rotation of polarization plane in a magnetic field, that is, a Faraday effect. A conductor under measurement is transversely inserted into a center opening of a Faraday effect glass which has at least two total reflection areas on a periphery thereof so that a light directed into the Faraday effect glass is circulated around the conductor and emitted externally. The light emitted from the Faraday effect glass is split into at least two light beams, which are converted to electric signals by photoelectric elements, and A.C. components contained in the electric signals are extracted and compared. The electric signals are corrected based on the comparison result.The present measuring apparatus and method attain high precision current measurement in a stable manner over an extended period.
