摘要： A probe has a step portion between its upper and lower lateral faces. A water bag has a container portion for containing water therein, and an engaging portion which is integrally formed with the container portion and which has a greater wall thickness than that of the container portion. The engaging portion is put on the upper lateral faces of the probe, with its sealing portion being pressed against the step portion. The press portion of a fitting member is caused to engage with the step portion, with the sealing portion therebetween. In this state, a clamp member clamps the fitting member, so that the sealing portion is held under pressure between the press portion and the step portion. Thus, the sealing portion is pressed against the step portion, and water poured into the water bag through a tube is contained therein in a liquid-tight manner. The probe and the object to be examined are acoustically coupled by means of the water.

摘要： In a helical scan video tape recorder, a capstan motor is speed-controlled in response to a command frequency of a command signal under a special reproducing mode called a SEARCH MODE. A speed servo loop for the capstan motor for this purpose includes a pair of pulse converters and a pair of integrating circuits for comparing the command signal and a rotation signal generated by a frequency generator attached to the capstan motor. A time constant of the integrating circuit for the command signal path is selected to be smaller than that of the integrating circuit for the rotation signal, so that the capstan motor is driven in a pulse drive mode below a predetermined speed.

摘要： To provide a work machine in which traveling devices and an implement device can be operated by common operating levers, wherein switching operation is easy and a changeover is easily confirmed. Inside a cab of the work machine, there are provided travel pedals, with which the traveling devices can be operated, and operating levers, with which the traveling devices and the implement device can be operated. A changeover switch is provided on a console positioned in the vicinity of one side of an operating sheet. The changeover switch switches over between a traveling mode, in which traveling operation is possible by the operating levers, and a work mode, in which implement operation is possible by the operating levers. The work machine has a controller which makes it possible to work by the operating levers when the travel pedal is not stepped on in the case where the work mode or traveling mode is selected by the changeover switch, and makes it possible to travel by the operating levers only when the travel pedal is stepped on in the case where the traveling mode is selected by the changeover switch.

摘要： The subject of the present invention is to provide a β-lactam acylase protein having high activity, a gene coding for said β-lactam acylase protein, a recombinant vector having said gene, a transformant containing said recombinant vector, and a method of producing a β-lactam antibiotic such as amoxycillin using said β-lactam acylase. A β-lactam acylase gene of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia was cloned, the DNA base sequence and the amino acid sequence expected therefrom was determined, and a Stenotrophomonas β-lactam acylase gene was obtained. This gene was found to code for a protein with a molecular weight of about 70 kDa and having β-lactam acylase activity, and could efficiently produce amoxycillin without being inhibited by phenylacetic acid, etc. Furthermore, by modification of the amino acid sequence, a protein which can more efficiently produce amoxycillin could be obtained.

摘要： Decarbamylases are provided capable of producing D-.alpha.-amino acids by hydrolysis of N-carbamyl-D-.alpha.-amino acids. A source of the decarbamylases is recombinant microorganisms produced by gene manipulation methods. Decarbamylases having improved thermostability can be obtained in which amino acids at a thermostability-related site of a natural decarbamylase have been replaced with other amino acids by mutating a DNA fragment encoding the natural decarbamylase. Recombinant DNA is obtained from a vector DNA and a DNA fragment encoding a natural decarbamylase where the nucleic acid sequence encoding an amino acid at a thermostability-related site is replaced with a nucleic acid sequence encoding another amino acid. The recombinant DNA is used to produce transformants that produce thermostable decarbamylases. The decarbamylases may be immobilized in purified, partially-purified or crude form or in the form of decarbamylase-containing microbial cells on a support such as a polymer having ion exchange groups or covalent bonding groups. The presence of an antioxidant such as dithiothreitol results in an immobilized decarbamylase preparation that can be repeatedly used 30 times or more.

The controller is responsive to display switching information transmitted from the data transmitting apparatus to read the display control information stored in the control information memory, sequentially reads the display data from the data memory in accordance with the display order represented by the read-out display control information and supplies the same to the display device. The display data includes previously stored display data and current display data, and the display control information includes transmission code data indicating whether the display data is advance transmission data or real time transmission data.
