摘要: A device for storing and administering drug includes a housing, a sealing element (3) and a separate low friction plunger (4) which is substantially-permeable to gas over time. The sealing element (3) is typically broken to allow delivery of the drug. The housing (2) may be filled with the drug through an opening other than the opening through which the pusher (13) enters the housing to move the plunger so as to expel the drug during administration to a patient.

According to one particular embodiment, a computer-implemented method may comprise: receiving information of a first chance game established on a first medium, wherein a play of the first chance game provides an access mechanism for a second chance game; establishing the second chance game on a second medium based at least in part on the information of the first chance game; predetermining, by at least one processor, an outcome of the second chance game by a associating predetermined results with a plurality of game sessions; receiving from a player a request to access the second chance game submitted based on the access mechanism; assigning to the player one of the plurality of game sessions having a predetermined result; and facilitating the player's play of the second chance game to reveal to the player the predetermined result of the assigned game session.

摘要: Systems and methods for map-based prize discovery game are disclosed. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method for map-based prize discovery games may comprise: establishing an online game based on a map that includes a plurality of grid units; placing at least one object in hidden association with one or more predetermined grid units in the map; receiving from a first player at least one token and a selection of at least one available first grid unit; associating the selected at least one first grid unit with the first player; determining whether the first player wins a prize based on the selection of the at least one first grid unit and the placement of the at least one object in hidden association with the one or more predetermined grid units in the map. In another exemplary embodiment, it may be determined whether the first player wins based on a probability algorithm.

摘要: A dispenser for mixing and dispensing a liquid chemical concentrate from a container with a dilutent. The dispenser includes a rotatable and slideable eductor assembly. Both a high and low flow rate can be obtained with simultaneous adjustment of concentration of the chemical concentrate. The dispenser has a high degree of accuracy of the amount of dilution of the chemical concentrate as well as positive positioning of the high and low flow rate. The dispenser also provides for proper selection of concentrate during operation and has a lock-in feature during operation.

摘要: An auto-injector for dispensing a predetermined dose of medicament is disclosed. The auto-injector includes a needle cover operative to engage an injection site. The needle cover is configured to move from a retracted position prior to a medicament dispensing operation to an extended locked position after the medicament dispensing operation. Any residual activation force remaining after the medicament dispensing operation is contained within the auto-injector and is not directed to the needle cover, thus attenuating, if not eliminating, any kickback effect.

摘要: An apparatus for synchronizing the system clocks of wireless devices in a digital communications system is presented. A digital phase-locked loop is employed. The phase-locked loop may include a counter which is incremented by a local device system clock and latched by a frame synchronization marker received from a remote device, whereby the counter output comprises a feed forward signal. The phase-locked loop may alternatively include a counter that reflects the level of data stored in receive and/or transmit FIFO buffers. The loop output signal controls the frequency of the system clock oscillator.

摘要: The present invention relates to an electroluminescent illumination system, more particularly to an electroluminescent light system that allows vehicles to be visible during periods of low light, for example bicycles. The EL panels can be selective affixed to any of the bicycle frame members or wheels, where the EL panels are electrically connected to the power source. The power source applies an AC signal to the conductive substrates of the EL panels resulting in the EL material charging and discharging to emitting light.
