    摘要: To make it possible to provide high quality heating or warming with low environmental pollution for a low environmental pollution vehicle such as an electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle, an automotive air-conditioning apparatus has a hot water circuit that includes a hot water heater (heat source unit), a hot water circulating pump and a heater core to thereby perform a heating operation for heating passenger compartment air wherein, an electric motor is excited under the condition that the rotation thereof is fixed to thereby generate heat in the electric motor. The generated heat is utilized as a heat source for the hot water heater. The restricting mechanism may include two electric motors which are rotated in opposite directions to each other or a lock mechanism. Also, a cooling operation for cooling the passenger compartment air may be performed by driving the compressor (heat source unit) with the electric motors, a dehumidifying operation may be performed by simultaneously effecting the heating and cooling operations, or a heat pump type heating operation may be performed by having the refrigerant circuit acting reversibly.

    摘要: A power transmission mechanism having a pulley rotor and a release plate. The pulley rotor is coaxial with the release plate, and power from the pulley rotor is transmitted to the release plate to rotate the pulley rotor and the release plate in the same direction. A spiral spring is located between the pulley rotor and the release plate. The spiral spring is releasably engaged with the pulley rotor. A transmission surface is provided on the pulley rotor to oppose and engage a free end of the spiral spring. The transmission surface transfers power from the pulley rotor to the release plate, and relative rotation between the pulley rotor and the release plate is permitted due to deformation of the spiral spring. A release projection causes the free end of the spiral spring to move and separate from the transmission surface in accordance with relative rotation between the pulley rotor and the release plate when the load applied to the release plate exceeds a predetermined value. Therefore, if the release plate applies an unusually strong load to the pulley rotor, it will be released from the pulley rotor.

    摘要: An improved displacement control valve incorporated in a variable displacement compressor. The control valve is installed in an accommodating hole formed in a rear housing of the compressor. A cap is attached to a housing body of the control valve. A pressure sensing chamber is defined between the cap and the housing body. A pressure sensing member, or bellows, is located in the pressure sensing chamber. The bellows moves a valve body in accordance with pressure introduced into the pressure sensing chamber. A tubular protector, which is made of an elastic material, is attached to the cap. The control valve is installed in the rear housing by inserting the valve, cap first, into the accommodating hole. During this installation, the protector prevents the cap from directly contacting the housing or inner wall of the accommodating hole. The cap is therefore not deformed. The performance of the control valve is therefore improved.
