摘要： A generating system having a rotating type generator to interconnect a power system in order to output power of the generator to the power system comprises a generator, an exciting circuit and an excitation control section. It also comprises short-cycle stabilizing sections for outputting a short-cycle stabilizing signal for suppressing short-cycle power fluctuations according to at least one of an electric parameter and a mechanical parameter of the generator and a long-cycle stabilizing section for outputting a long-cycle stabilizing signal for suppressing long-cycle power fluctuations having a cycle time longer than short-cycle power fluctuations according to the mechanical parameter of the generator. The outputs of the short-cycle stabilizing sections and the long-cycle stabilizing section are sent to the excitation control section.

摘要： A self-heating container comprising a heater contained in a container. The heater includes a pyrogen of high energy density having a large heating value, and a firing agent contacting the pyrogen and easier to fire than the pyrogen. Each of the pyrogen and the firing agents is a mixture of one or more kinds of metal oxide powder and one or more kinds of powder of elementary substances or alloys of metal and semimetal. The heater is supported on a wall of the container through a heat insulator to reduce the heat loss. The insulator has a bore formed through it and extending between the firing agent and the outside of the container. An igniter can be inserted into the bore to ignite the firing agent.

摘要： A circuit interrupter includes an arc extinction assembly for magnetically driving or blowing out an arc formed between a stationary contact and a movable contact. The assembly comprises a pair of coaxial windings which are disposed in proximity to the contacts so that the internal lines of magnetic force generated by and passing inside of the windings can act directly on the arc for magnetically driving the arc in one direction. A magnetic flux diverting yoke is provided in association with the windings to diverse therethrough the external lines of magnetic force generated by and passing outside of the windings such that the arc and a portion of the movable contact arm carrying the same will not be under the influence of the external lines of magnetic force even when the contact separation proceeds to a stage where the arc is extended past the region which is totally under the influence of the internal lines of magnetic force. Otherwise, the external lines of magnetic force would pass through the arc and the portion of the movable contact arm in the opposite direction to the internal lines of magnetic force, causing the adverse magnetic effect of retarding the arc extinction and contact separation.
